Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
I would like people's opinions on whether to end this day on Monday and have night 2 last until January, or to end this day with the coming of the New Year.

Of the three, RNGesus directed me to vote for ImperatorV.

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
Going to listen to FC and town and vote ImperatorV.
Misread some stuff, just ignore
Fleeing Coward, is there a specific reason Ramsus should be lynched first? I don't think people switching to Ramsus now is a good idea, because some people might not change their votes in time.

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
For my part, I find "I'm putting the third vote on a yet-uncontested wagon which no one has stated any reason to think is particularly likely to be a wolf" more suspicious than the first or second vote.

Well, not sure what I can add here so
ImperatorV, though I would like to know if there's any more to it than "voted for a mason before the mason claimed".Last edited by OrbitalPanic; 2016-12-24 at 06:59 PM.

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
I vote that the day ends Monday.
I'm gonna go with Ramsus for the lynch to try to get a counterwagon going and FC for the gift because he's a mason apparently.

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
I can see you're all wise guys here. You all know about how FC always tells the truth, especially when his neck is on the line, and how highest priority for masons is always "lynch anyone who voted for me before I claimed".

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
This would be a lot funnier if you weren't depressingly on point. Although I'd note we have no counter-claim. And Generic actually made a reasonable point about ImperatorV jumping on the FC wagon remarkably quick.
My gift vote likely doesn't count for anything now, but Ramsus, I know we haven't always gotten along well. I hope the gift is something nice. And also that you get it.

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
I'm somewhat suspicious of anyone who's trying to sell a redo of a wagon that was an opposed wagon to Duck999 on Day 1, on an uncounterclaimed mason. I also have other reasons (related to talking to flatfooted) to believe Tom the Mime is town.
Duneyrr said "This wagon feels awfully fishy to me, though Tom the Mime is pretty fishy too" and voted with Tom the Mime for Pelican, and then the next day voted for Tom the Mime again suggesting that casting a vote for Pelican the previous day was trying to bail out a wolf buddy--an implication which I'd suggest everyone think hard about.
ImperatorV is a good target for today, but if I'm not still alive to start a wagon on Duneyrr tomorrow, I hope someone picks it up. Also suspicious of Xihirli.
I think "put the third vote on the sole wagon with no stated reasoning, instead of either voting for someone who they had some reason to suspect or voting off-wagon to promote discussion" is more than that; I'm with you as far as "voted for a mason before the mason claimed" not being intrinsically suspicious, which is why I'm voting for ImperatorV and not Ramsus.
- - - Updated - - -
Unless flatfooted lied to me (something that strikes me as highly unlikely), he had a power role. Accordingly, I suspect that 1) this is an all-power-role game and 2) all we'll learn when anyone dies is which side they were on, not what power role they had. If I'm right, presumably the wolves have known it since Duck999 died, so it can only benefit town for everyone to know it.Last edited by Kish; 2016-12-23 at 02:52 PM.

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
Before I need to take a third draft of this post due to being ninja'd while typing, I'll state my agreement that Duneyrr and ImperatorV seem wolfy.
Kish for the gift, because they posted about Duneyrr's vote last day phase as I was still drafting mine, and because they seem the most town to me.

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
Duneyrr mentioned that.
Those on non-duck bandwagons may have been trying to protect a wolf buddy, so I'm suspicious of Tom and Duneyrr. But only one of those already had a vote on them. I'd put either of them up for lynch. I'm mostly feeling neutral about Imp. Might be a wolf, might not be. Continuing a running gag past the point of "getting old" is something a lot of us do, though I may end up switching if Imp doesn't post again today.Spoiler: Check Out my Writing!

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
ImperatorV apparently? I'd like to know if FC has actual reason to think they are a wolf or if he's just guessing/revenge voting. Given the lack of a counterclaim I'll believe him on being a mason for now though.
Gifts: Fleeing Coward because mason, Ramsus because I feel bad about that one vote in the Hogwarts game, and I guess Indarra for voting Duck999 yesterday?
General comment/announcement that I'll be on vacation and not checking GiTP between Dec 24 and Dec 30 inclusive.
As such, I'd prefer to end the day on Monday, I'd rather miss the day phase than the night phase.Last edited by Elenna; 2016-12-23 at 04:20 PM.

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
With the realization that I didn't vote for gifts I'm going to vote for Kish for providing a decent explanation of the wagon.

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
Note that ideally, first, second, and third gift place should all go to trustworthy town members. It's not good for town if the final result is (hypothetically): Mason: 17 votes, Wolf-1: 3 votes, Wolf-2: 1 vote.
(In other words, barring a surge in another gift-wagon, I think FC has enough votes now, and will probably be switching off myself--likely to Indarra or Tom the Mime--on Sunday, once I'm confident FC's lead won't be challenged.)Scratch this; he doesn't have nearly as many votes as I, for some reason, thought.Last edited by Kish; 2016-12-23 at 04:59 PM.

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
Ramsus
Shading me.
Opportunistic jumping on my wagon.
Conveniently forgetting that I voted to lynch a wolf yesterday.
I would already be dead if it wasn't for a particular someone's actions last night.

Also, have reason to believe Xihirli is wolf and Ramsus wanted to gift Xihirli.

Re: A Perfectly Normal Werewolf Game
Personal preference is for the day to end in January so that we can all just relax and not worry about the game until then.
- - - Updated - - -
For what it's worth, I think you're the one I least want to lynch out of the three and I wouldn't mind if anyone votes you for a gift.
I'm just strongly against Ramsus and Xihirli getting gifts since we have reason to believe that they may be wolves. Everyone else, I have no objections to at this point.
