Sucks about the rings. They've been a problem for every wedding I've been involved in. The ones my wife picked out showed up in the mail the day of the ceremony and were not properly fitted, being about three sizes too large. My nephew got fed up waiting for theirs, so he made his own in a metal shop one of his friends ran--they still wear those. When my sister in law got remarried, their rings were somehow fused together--metal shop guy to the rescue again!

And those are the ones when the rings actually showed up.

My grandmother gave me a ring for my wife. It is pretty, but a funny shape, so my wife doesn't wear it much. I have a tungsten carbide ring which came in the mail a couple weeks before the wedding.

I shortly considered printing the puzzle, yes. But I still have lots of other quizzes waiting in my shelf.

If there are funny Sf/steampunk references, I trust you guys to discuss them here!

    More to the point,
    • Kaja looks a little like Agatha
    • Greg looks a little like Moloch Von Zinzer
    • Doug looks very like Lars
    • Edd is sort of like Merlot

The Kaja-Agatha connection is, from what I understand, intentional.

Blond era Dixie was a revised version of the earlier Dixie with the intent to make her look like Kaja. They already looked a lot alike so there was little to change.

Now, we get to wait till Monday to find out what that triumphant, "HA!" was all about.

I wonder if they're planning on regrowing Bunstable? Sure, the brain's gone (unless someone manages a whole lot of very complicated time travel AND making recordings of brains [sure, Agatha may be up to it, but I don't think she can be thinking that far ahead, yet. Still, if you don't prepare for future possibilities, no matter how unlikely, how can you be prepared to make a monster Sherlock Holmes/Mr. Hyde when the opportunity arrives? You think Albia became an immortal queen by just waiting for things to happen?]).

Given that Agatha's wasp eater is nearby in a box and attached to some kind of equipment, I'm thinking that she's found a way to remove her dependency on proximity to the wasp eater and Martellus.

"HA!" indeed, though hopefully the weaselpillar will still remain a semi-regular fixture in the comic.

I agree that Agatha has concocted a formula that means she no longer needs the weaselpillar. However, she'll still need the formula (unless this is a permanent cure).

Even though this is a Spark expressing gleeful triumph, the smile and eyes are only minimally psychotic, and so viewing this moment from a distance of a hundred yards or so would probably be survivable. Probably. The right hand, though, suggests that approaching nearer that 100 yards would be imprudent.

Now - who or what is that in the green tank behind her? Is that Andronicus, brought here for study? And where is Tarvek?

The gun Agatha built in her sleep punched through a few mountains, so even that isn't a guarantee.

I'm not convinced it's Bunstable, it might be, or it might be some random person we've never met, or someone we've forgotten about.

One human skeleton surrounded by green plasma looks much the same as any other. Since this is presumably the biological lab, that could well just be an old experiment that hasn't been cleared away yet.

An entire atmosphere, plus 2 meters of dirt, should suffice for most things.

Or, you know, ride a plasma torch at full speed away from the thing.

I'm going to agree with the Bunstable hypothesis as to the body in the green liquid. I think they'd want to preserve that as evidence if nothing else.

If it's anyone else (and is ever more than a background detail), I will be mildly annoyed with the Foglios, because it's the most logical choice plotwise.

"Floating in mint syrup" isn't sparky mad science, it's just traditional British cuisine.
