Olwyn, the rustling of the underbrush behind you perks your ears up. You glance behind you in time to see the rampaging charge of a ferocious, militaristic regimented charge of a goblinoid, though slightly bigger than Arth's stature would be. Under the sunlight you catch the sparkling gleam of a pair of sharp blades, one in each hand. He's about forty feet out, so in one turn with his charge, he will be engaged with you as things sit. It'd be a reasonable assumption this would be the infamous killer the advisor had warned you about.

Arth aims for a low blow, trying to get the orc before he gets her.

As the goblin takes careful aim, she lines up her shot, and fires - the bolt screeches through the air and impacts the padding around the orc, it's damage however just short of inflicting damage onto the creature.

Olwyn calls out to her companions in warning: "'Ware! Another ambusher charging!"

She lets loose her sling toward the diminutive figure of the bandit goblin, hopping her bullet connects this time. She lifts her shield to defend herself against the imminent charge.

Olwyn will try to shoot her sling before Twoblades closes the distance, if she can. If she doesn't have time, then she'll attack with a bash from her spiked shield when Twoblades (presumably) attacks.

Olwyn looses a bullet from his sling, the stone finding it's mark across the goblinoid's cheek, and he howls out in pain! His face twisted and contorted in the stinging iMPACTful agony of the shot. He even coughs up some blood - but his charge remains unbroken. The distance closed, Twoblades will make his charge attack direct to Olwyn.

Let's just say you're very lucky you made that Listen DC. This would have been catastrophic otherwise. That said, it was an easy DC to make. I'm sure a 17 does hit, and you'll take 1 damage from the strike.

As Gorros turns to the double bladed newcomer, the Orc takes an opportunistic attack with his club at the heavily armoured fighter, his tongue hissing and his voice snarling as he does so.

With such a swing at the infamous Hobgoblin, Twoblades, the creature's seemingly heightened sense of awareness easily dodges around the strikes of Gorros' mighty blade. Twoblades, being the combat savvy warrior he is, feigns interest in the ancient technique, though it passes as the armoured knight swings wide. Twoblades focus, then, returns back to Olwyn and his sling bullet that beaned him pretty damn hard across the cheek.

Olwyn fails to ward off the first swipe from the charging goblin. His curved blade skitters past her shield and nicks her shoulder. She gives a small grunt of pain, "Ouff!" and then shoves forward with her shield to retaliate. She throws the weight of her body into the attack, aiming to stab the sword-wielding goblin with her shield spike.
