Re: Color-it Filler Art from Honeymooning Jamie
That's awesome. It looks like a shoulder-mounted Dirty Harry.

Re: Color-it Filler Art from Honeymooning Jamie
This may be a bit late all told, but I thought I'd give the colouring a shot myself.
No one seems to have done a "classic" colour Jillian, so, well, here we are.

Zain, I really like your version. I think the colors work a lot better than the ones I chose, actually. There is something to be said for classics.

Re: Color-it Filler Art from Honeymooning Jamie
Thank you muchly! I rather like your version as well, especially the ridiculously over-sized weaponry version!
Your texturing was impressive too... how much of that was done with the aforementioned watercolour function, and how much was drawn manually?
As for the colours in my version, there really wasn't much of what you would call creativity there. Eyedropper from Comic-Jillian, fill into Outline-Jillian, burn & dodge to flavour. It's all really a testament to the graphical artistry of Jamie that his character design palette choices work so well even when used cross-genre!

Re: Color-it Filler Art from Honeymooning Jamie
Right, you caught me in a situation where I was looking for something creative to do and didn't know what It's been a while since I coloured lineart, so I used too much time on this, and've propably stared myself blind - so I don't know if it's good.
I'll keep working on it if it is good

Re: Color-it Filler Art from Honeymooning Jamie
Now back in the ol' homestead, I can finally oblige.
800x600
1024x768
1280x1024
1600x1200
4000x3000, in all its imperfect, server-killing glory.
I hope they are enjoyed.Last edited by Zain_Thorngallow; 2007-06-14 at 08:30 PM.

Could use some more fiddling, but I'm done for now. Wall paper versions could be made if people are interested

78% of DM's started their first campaign in a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature.
