    Default Erfworld Print Ad

We had a great opportunity come our way to do a print ad for an upcoming comic. We'll probably make a proper announcement for the book once we get set details, but I wanted to share the image without the text so you folks don't think I'm just sitting around picking my nose and not drawing things (see, I can pick my nose AND draw things).

No spoilers here for anyone, but I thought it'd be nice to see the Marbits kick some boop.

Okay, that's it for now. Off to work some more.

Wow. That is NICE. Though I have to wonder why the cloth golem is about to brain Jillian.

Can we add this to the 'blowing up Erfworld' thread? Pretty please?

Did anyone else think, up until now, that the projections on the heads of Gobwins and Hobgobwins were an additional set of ears? One of my favorite running gags in the whole series turns out to have existed only in my imagination.

    Oh yeah, marvelous art.

Yeah, looks great. Tired of no updates. Lost interest in the story. Don't care anymore. Just another failed webcomic.

    Buh bye

I wasn't quite sure; the coloring did give that impression in some panels. That could be an effect of JPEG compression on small features.

The croaked-gump version of the ad ought to be particularly impressive.

    Suitably epic!

Gotta ask, though - where's Parson? Or is he underneath that dogpile?

Parson missing is bad enough -- but where is Vinnie? I just realised he was missing...

    Also, just one dwagon ?
Maybe the picture shows the battle at FAQ, and Parson is still in GK.

Edit: on closer inspection, there are some zombies in the fight, so the picture must be from a battle at GK.

I love how Jillian is not only fighting with a ridiculously oversized sword but is also managing to dual-wield it. It totally suits her over the top personality.

Hahaha! Yeah, okay. We'll see who's still around to buy your book in, oh, I'd say four years when you finish it. 1.5 pages per month. Blazing speed there.

Oh, but it's a very pretty picture. /pat head

That's mean to say. The fact that you know that Erfworld has been experiencing problems with the update schedule shows that you have read the Comic/Forum. And you wouldn't read so far or inform yourself about updates if you didn't like and care about it, would you?
Besides Update discussions don't belong in the forums.

    Anyway - Awesome view :)

I can wait for this. Slow updates or no, I'm reading this webcomic to the FINISH! Something about the story grabbed me by the boops and sucked me in... I am definately buying the printed comic!

I got the opposite impression. To me it looks like Jillian's last stand.

Are there multiple sources of lighting in that picture? Or is there something airborn or large (a dwagon?) that is casting a shadow on the knights and some of the troops in front of them?
