Thanks, everyone! I've submitted orders for Japan for this turn. I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to talk with you all, but familial duties kept me from spending much time in front of the compter the past two days. I'll be PMing everyone this week.

A boh - vie
A tyr S A boh - vie

F den skips to swe (That's not a legal order. Make sure it fails. And post that I said that it isn't a legal order so no one gets any idea. And post that too just for fun).
A bel S A boh - vie

Britain:
A Bre- Por
A Por S A Bre-Por
F Mao C A Bre-Por
F Gol-Tys
F Wes-Tun
F Lon-Wal
F Liv-Iri
F Eng H
F Mal-Joh
F Joh-And

Russia:

Austria:

NMR
All units hold

Turkey:

All units hold
All units hold

France:
Civil disorder
All unit holds

India:
(Tim_the_Enchanter, who has notified me of having to leave, but for whom I haven't found a replacement)
NMR
All units hold

Well, that turn kind of sucked. Anybody have any thoughts on how to proceed? I'll post an ad about replacing India. Do you guys care about Austria and Turkey? Or are you out there, Strategos and/or Raveler1? Would it be okay if J_Muller filled in for one of these powers (if he's willing)? Anything you can think of to say would be good.

Orders
Spoiler

Key Failed Orders being,

F Den Skips to Swe, Please see GM above post.

A bre - por, This action was suported by A Por S A Bre-Por. Por can not suport an attack on itself, nor can another player make orders for someone else.

Issues with those failed orders should be taken up with moody, however the rule book is very specific about those kind of mistakes and they have been resolved by the terms set in those rules.

Regards,

Void

Also, "skips to" is not a legal order. It should have failed. I kind of wrote that in the order. F den should not have moved to swe.

EDIT: okay, so even though it was mentioned as a "key failed move," it still succeeded. A mistake in adjudication, I think.

I hope that replacements for can be found; India for certain requires a player, and we could really an active hand behind at least one of Austria or Turkey. If you can't find anyone for any of those countries, then a restart seems inevitable. If so, I'd very much like to be included in the list of players for the new game. Still, I'd prefer keeping this game going, if at all possible.

I'm sorry for seeming to have dropped off the face of the planet - I've been on vacation for a while after graduating, and things have been a bit hectic. It is for that reason that I find I must step down from this game - please forgive my lateness on reaching this decision.

Oh phooey. I take full responsibility for having only one set of orders right now, since not only did I fail to post a 24 hour notice, I completely forgot about the turn. So, since it's about 3am EST right now, I'll say that orders will be due by 3am EST THURSDAY (counting today, as it technically is, as Wednesday - that is, 24 hours from now). If I go out again after work tomorrow night, I might actually end up posting orders at 3am, otherwise I might post them when I wake up on Thursday. Retreats will be due within 24 hours of the adjudication and posting of the map (by void) and builds 24 hours after that (for a total of 48 hours after the posting of the map). That should place us reasonably on track. Sorry about being spacey, but working 40+ hours a week and trying to maintain some semblance of a social life will do that to you.

I'm happy to continue running this game as long as you all are alright with the occasional (or maybe even frequent) occurrence of slip-ups like this.

Hello folks, my sincerest apologizes. Aside from my internet outage the week prior; my work, social and personal obligations have dynamically changed (in mostly good ways) these last two weeks, consuming a large majority of my time. Although I would like to continue this game I do not for see it calming down for at least another two weeks. I am sorry as it has been unfair to the other players and other games I am involved in. I would be happy to email the jdip maps to anyone that would like to take over mapping.

As Germany will take Vienna at the completion of next turn, and neither Japan nor Russia nor Germany will lose any supply centers, The Wamp, Grey Bishop and I are declaring joint victory.

Seriously. We win.
