Re: When The Avatara Walk the Earth....
If I am right don't need a balance check
(he was originaly 90ft from the group I moved up 40ft, them he moved to the group 40ft back (dif terain) but I have 80ft base land speed)
Right charging well Balance (1d20+20)[38] (other people take balance, and I got class bonuses to it) and as stated earlier my base land speed is 80ft.
EDIT: 20 days 300(ish) posts.

Right where I want you to be...
If your attack succeeds, you lose. If it doesn't, you lose.

You've got yoh nerves on end? Maybe I'm just desensitised from having crappy DMs, but I came out with barely a scracth last time, so I'm not too terribley worried. It's not Tomb of Horros after all.

Re: When The Avatara Walk the Earth....
((Nothing. You have no time to survive make your time.
Nah, now seriously, it's not that bad. I'm just going to expect out of the box thinking, so try to surprise me.
Now, let's see if he makes the Ref save from last turn: (1d20+32)[43]
If he does, no damage due to evasion, if he doesn't half damage anyway.
Also, new battlemap. To calculate distances and the like, use the dirt squares which represent buildings. Each of them equals five feet. Also, if you want to target your attacks, remember Ausphex is between Thufir and Sslag.))
The swordsman manages to repel all of Sasach's arrows this time, but other attacks hit their mark. As Sslag's claws cause deep cuts on his right arm while he deals with the invasive assasing, a mad gleam passes through his eyes:
Out...of...my...WAY!
He screams, as his weapons become translucent and he savagely attacks Sslag, his blades seeking his heart.

Re: When The Avatara Walk the Earth....
((Holy crap! 295 damage?!
Ok, thankfully, none of those seem to have been critical
and my potion of stoneskin did take the brunt of the damage, 100 pts, or I would have been very much dead, you awful, awful bastard!))
The stone that had been coviring the lizardfolk breaks off in chunks as Ausefex drives forward with his blades. This is probably a very ugly scene as blood, scales, blobs of lizardflok plasma and chunks of meat fly everywhere. I assume that at least two kidneys, possibly three, were hit and one lung probably colapsed.
Gasping, Sslag staggers backwards, flaps feebly upwards and backwards, and takes a small vial out of his pack. As he crushes it in his hand, the healing energies flow over him, repairing most of the damage.
Spoiler5-foot step backwards, ignoring bad terrain with the help of my perfect flight speed, ending up 40 feet in the air and in front of Ausefex, and using a potion of heal CL 15 to heal 150 damage.

Re: When The Avatara Walk the Earth....
((Actually, the blast missed. THANK GOD for insane touch AC. It's like five or six points higher than my flat footed AC.
And who said I was going anywhere? I've not let loose with the big cheese yet, so I don't wanna move.
Smiley: You can't take a 5' step if you take a move action. I assume you simply take a normal move action. In any case, I achieved my objective of breaking the flanking. Also, how many attacks hitted? Need to know to calculate the damage healed.
Necro: That was a crit alright. It hits.))

((10 of the attacks hit, so 10d6 damage is healed from your little monster. However, that is an average of 35 damage, so I probably netted some damage.
Vampyric weapons, I'm assuming. If so, what is the enhancement bonus for those. I want some.))

((+2. Those babies are nifty, extra damage plus recovery equals win. They're in the MiC.))
Greyen: Feel free.
Though I should correct myself: My touch AC is more like eight or nine points higher than my flat footed AC, not five or six.
Edit: Ouchie! I forgot to add 1d6 to my offhand attacks! Don't worry, though: I won't count that extra damage. The next attacks will have it, though.Last edited by Azerian Kelimon; 2008-05-04 at 03:25 PM.

((Wouldn't it be more prudent to summon a beastie to flank Isadore so Thufir could unleash more stabbity goodness? Might be a moot point, though, since Sslag was successful in two things. Keeping him from moving and keeping him from stabbing everyone else. Meat-shield man to the rescue and all that. Your choice, though))

Re: When The Avatara Walk the Earth....
Othar
Having recovered for the onslaught he suffered the first time, Othar charges against the agile swordsman, seeking to get some retribution. Go to hell!
Spoiler
Othar flies, so the terrain is moot, stops at 20 feet from the guy and tries to smack him:
Charge: (1d20+34)[52] damage:(2d6+17)[27]
If that hits, it will trigger knockdown; touch attack:(1d20+34)[39] opposed strength check:(1d20+17)[24]
Also, I want to see which crusader maneuvers I have (3) in the same order as before: (6d5)[4][4][3][4][3][5](23)
This turn Othar uses robilar's gambit (not that Isadore would know but just so that you do, AK)
Realizing that Sslag was the most successful in harming the swordsman, Othar encourages the half-dragon to keep going at it Get him, Sslag! don't give him time to recover!
Spoilerin other words, burning white raven tactics to grant Sslag another turna dagger in the dark is worth a thousand swords at dawn

Re: When The Avatara Walk the Earth....
It is about time for me to attack again...
Move action to feint(improved feint) Bluff check: (1d20+21)[30] and hoping he lost his dex(and many other modifiers) Thufir attacks again.
Attack (1d20+31)[33]
Damage (1d10+25)[33]
Thufir then takes a free 5ft step back and prepares for the counter attack.
ps: if you want to drop area of effect spells go-ahead, I have +29 to my reflex saves. Though if you think it will hit be careful...
pps: could someone buff me; I can't take 295 damage...
EDIT: A 2!!!!
