The power of the strike almost kills Alexis outright, and he is flung into the air slightly from the power of the blows. He hits the ground running, and flees from the room, bleeding profusely as he goes.

Alexis continues to run, attempting to maintain the precious inches between himself and Bok's blades.

Again withdraw 60ft. Heading to the chapel. Assuming we stay locked in this standoff, Alexis will look around as he enters the chapel again, looking for somewhere to run to.

Bok's action for his next turn or couple of turns is to chase Alexis until he can attack again, gets too tired to run or loses track of Alexis.

Suddenly, everything turns black. When light returns, you see that you are in the entrance to the tomb. In front of you are two smallfolk. One is wielding a loading a bow, while the other appears to have suddenly burst into flame. As your eyes focus, you see what they are fighting against.

A grotesque, winged humanoid with a horned head and stony hide lunges, its four arms each tipped with wicked rocky claws. Around the creature’s neck is a collar studded with huge, gleaming gems.

It makes a mad swing at the one on fire and misses widely.

OOC: You can stop fighting each other now. Bok also has a light headache and Alexis has a stomach cramp.

"Grawr! What happened? and why is that thing on fire?" Bok motions towards the Human Torch impersonator. When Bok notices the four armed creature, a memory of the statue with the 4 arms flashes through his mind.

(OOC) Sorry, a few questions before I make an action.

Can the creature see us (Bok and I)? Can we get behind/past it? Does the beast look seriously injured or healthy? Are we in the corridor with the trap doors? If so, which way are we facing?

You try to move, but you don't feel right just yet. It's as if some parts of your body are missing.

The creature sees you, but isn't actively looking at you. It's as if it looked past you.

You are indeed in the trap corridor, facing south.

The corridor seems to be getting darker, and you both feel a bit...more solid.

The one on fire says something. "Crap, the door closed! Take the ladder and climb down into the pit! Maybe it won't be able to reach you without impaling itself on the spikes! What the heck are those lights???" He then strikes the creature twice with a long lash of flame.

OOC: You can take combat actions now.

"Let's take this thing down!" Alexis yells, as he begins running forward. He then leaps into the air, does a dive roll past the beast, and then stands up and keeps running. Once he gets a fair distance away. He turns around and readies his crossbow.

Standard action: Move. Alexis puts himself about 50 ft away from the beast. If he does not have enough tunnel left to do this, he will instead use his standard action as total defense (+6 to AC)

Bok grunts in recognition of Alexis's order, draws his swords (if needed) and moves to flank the beast to the side (whichever side has open squares, left or right of the beast).

OOC: We're forgoing initiative for the moment. There is an order, you just don't need to roll for initiative.

The creature moves in front of the burning one, and is trying to push him into what you can see is an open pit.

Alexis effortlessly rolls past the creature, but it doesn't seem bothered by his presence.

Bok moves into position, drawing his weapons and preparing to strike.

The burning individual has been pushed into the pit. The creature is exhausted. Bok strikes the creature repeatedly, the first and last blows missing the creature completely, while the second hits flesh and the third glances off and shocks it.

The creature lies down, falls on its face, and dies.

The corpse now lies near the entrance of the tomb, with its necklace of diamonds still around its neck.
