As soon as GESS slave is ready, the original Encyclopede whose title/name I cannot remember will lead him to a London routemaster standing in a corridor of various engines. The Encyclopede, its necrotechnomantic thralls following, climbs aboard. One of the thralls gets into the drivers seat. "Is there anything in particular you would like to go? Dinosaurial remains, aeronautic history, geology, pottery, biodiversity, and many more we offer."

B-27 is so distracted by his ear communicator that he almost doesn't notice the Encyclopede speaking. "Ah... hm? Oh... do you happen to have a section that deals with artifacts to which the laws of contemporary physics do not apply? They are of particular interest to my current research project."

"Nothing so specific. We have chambers filled with religious artifacts, magical objects of great power, and technologies. Perhaps some of these may be of use?" The necrotechnomantic construct starts up the routemaster's engine and starts to drive. Should B-27 look out of the window, they pass skeletons, statues, plants, robots, and lots of other objects of historic, scientific, magical, or religious value. There's even a rack of hairdryers of different designs and from different time periods and planets.

Slave Market

This is where the silver people-carrier arrives. Harry, the man wearing a posh tailored suit and sunglasses and also the driver, gets out first, followed closely by Natalie. The car is in a grassy field with a variety of carts, cars, vans, lorries, hovervehicles, and other modes of conveyance from a variety of places and times.

The slave market itself is a collection of brightly-coloured tents and wagons encircling a wooden platform, but it's organised in such a way that this central area is not visible from outside the slave market. The children may note the main entrance has, in addition to the admission booth, a larger wagon nearby with no windows and a fire outside.

Jamie eagerly goes to climb out after Natalie, looking around with wide eyes. "Is this the carnival? Wow!"

"Hmm? Yes, of course. She's (slightly-less-than-reasonable-price)." The person is a wrinkled and stunted gnome. He's short, even for that particular species, and only noticable because he's standing on a counter near the back, putting him at about chest-height to most of the customers.

"Yes, it is. Certainly looks fun, doesn't it?" Natalie sounds excited, too. Maybe not as excited as Jamie, but definatly excited. She actually means it, too. Her revenge is so close, she could taste it. Where it not for the fact it's purely metaphorical and Natalie cannot actually taste anything at all.
