"Yea. You're right. Thanks, Ari..."
She sighs, and tries to rest her head on the shoulder of her friend/lover/co-fianceé.
"So, where have you been? It's been awhile."

Ari sighs again.
I kind of got cold feet.
I don't even know why.
So I went back to the circus for a little while.

Well, that ceratinly has to be an annoyance," BR mutters, wondering why Future Kids always seem to either be trying to kill their parents, or have somebody trying to kill them (cf. Theo).
"...I think we can handle that here. Patty never mentioned a little brother (or big brother, for that matter) but, anyway. Want me to see if I can rig up some sorta teleport thing to get you here?"

Patty, her worries vanquished (or at least, paved over for the moment) grins back, and nods in agreement.

DRDs go on alert!
Some head for the teleporter, to start rigging it for Mike-retrieval.

Others deploy their blasters, and form up in ranks behind BR, who turns - not having finched a bit - raises an eyebrow, and sighs at...
"...aaaaaaaaand you'd be Ryan, I presume. Also, got up on the wrong side of the bed, I presume."
He shakes his head.
"Wrong question, nephew. The correct question is, 'how many pieces will I be in after your mother and I get done with me'? The answer to that, I think, might be...oh, perhaps, forty-two? Maybe sixty-nine. Depends on which one of us does the counting."
He narrows his eyes, crossing his arms.
"And is that any way to talk to your Uncle John, anyway?"

"Oh, yeah, you're right." BR shrugs. "'Grind to a fine paste' might be more accurate. Or 'flatten after having an anvil dropped upon'. 'Suffering a sugar coma from ice cream' would be preferable, though - I know your sister would prefer it, at least..."
