He no longer wears full plate all the time, for instance, as he keeps rending it by accident every time he flexes his Manly biceps.

Sorry Murkus, I was originally going to ask if they could just keep him in solitary confinement for the week, but then I got severely fed up with how overwhelmingly onesided it was all becoming. I like my fights to at least have some chance, no matter how slim.

Can I share something I've been thinking about? When a character is left no choice but to do exactly what another character wants him to, or kill himself, there is absolutely no difference between that and godmoding. As HT mentioned, being realistic is one thing, but this is a goddam game. It's supposed to be fun for everyone. =\

Well, you did submit him to it. You could have easily said that Toby wildshaped into a fire elemental from the beginning, negating the blood magic.

Yet you submitted to it. And then when he's captured and actually contained, he kills himself.

Faster than Jack Empty, without magic, in a fashion as close to godmodding as the blood magic. And with the anti-magic collar, he shouldn't have even been able to make a magic bag appear to draw a knife out of.

This chafes me. I was planning on actual negotiations after Jack finished having his fun. Which he had, in that last post.

The bag was always there, it didn't appear. And I suspect the taken understanding was that the blood magic kept him from wildshaping.

I don't see how a magic item would be subjected to the anti-magic collar. He didn't cast a spell to make it happen.

Probably if you'd let Firefox know that Jack was about to be done "having his fun", he would have put up with it a bit longer. But really there was no way for him to know that. And the fact was that Firefox had stopped having fun long before. Everyone always has the choice to just flat out stop participating, and it's far better to let them fudge a bit to do it IC than to push it and push it until they leave OOC.

But I really doubt FF will even see this discussion since a week's worth of posts will have happened between now and then.
