Reiji is up, but thus far has no means of getting into anything unless A) the Michiko plot moves some (Callos hasn't spoken to me about that yet, by the way) or B) some of the kids wander into the bad parts of town, where there's criminal activity, and he shows up as his other self. Or watches TV, he could be in the news.

Well, it was suggested Reiji ended up connected with the Michiko plot because he's tough on crime, particularly Yakuza crime. Given that Michiko is a Yakuza princess, it fits. However, it wouldn't be polite of me, to say the least, to simply come up and say, "Ohi! I can has talk wif Michiko nao?"

Alright, now that that's been said...

This is primarily directed at players of the other Mortal World characters, but how would people feel about Fortunato showing up and making contact with the young Mediums at some point? This wouldn't be for a long time; two or three arcs, at least. I don't have any specific plans just yet, but I want to see if I should even start coming up with ideas or if people just don't like the concept.

I don't know why he would come make a visit to mortal characters? He seems to be 'defend Hueco Mundo' kind of villain.

Of course if you have good idea, please tell everyone.

Fortunato would have a few reasons. First, like I said before, the kids are unusual and interesting to him. By the time he'd actually be interacting with them they would be noticeably powerful, especially in a group like they are. From his perspective this makes them useful as potential tools and dangerous, potentially, to Las Noches' interests. Above all, he wants to see how far they'll go; they will already have gotten through some pretty hairy situations, and this will increase his interest.

Initially, at least, he would probably work through an emissary rather than get personally involved.

I'd say Fortunato meeting the kids is okay. As you said, it's going to happen further down the line, meaning they could potentially ward him off - and if he is not directly hostile, there won't be any need for lethal combat anyway.

Just to chime in with the earlier Idiot Ball discussion: I share Callos's feeling to an extent. This is because I've felt sometimes minor ineptitude or failures that could be justified by means other than stupidity have been claimed to be character-breaking (ie., the Idiot Ball trope). Fortunately, this has mostly appeared in OOC speculation that has had little bearing on the actual game, but it has been personally jarring on some cases.

Now some playful character analysis:

Karite's case has so far been the only clear case of Idiot Ball IC - first when he did nothing when his underlings got beat, second when he was about to leave a dying Hollow unpurified. Even then, it's only the extent of these idiocies that break character - Karite himself admitted to Hachirou he was getting out of touch with field work, and misplaced sense of pride and honor were part of his character even when he fought Hannibal. Poor decisions were to be expected, but Karite could've as well worked competently and simply lost a fair fight - the usage of the Idiot Ball was not specifically required.

Now that's out of the way, I'll chime in with my update: Depending on how Akio will react in next two posts for him, the fight between him and Elder can stop in four, five posts, after which I'll write a closure with Elder going back to sleep. Depending on how riccaru will be online, this should take two, three days tops; so timeskipping SS at Friday night or Saturday morning would best fit me. I have nothing against the patrollers still in MW sauntering through the portal already.

The after-episode shenanigans in SS depend highly on how fast Terry wants to advance Karite's plot. We could just cart off the patrollers to 4th in few posts and timeskip another day for them to recover if no-one specifically wants to play out a plot at that timeframe.

Other than the Arena fight, all threads are pretty much ready to move forward.

His Bankai still has what amount to Time Stop in its description; while you've balanced it with him losing powers for a while, that's still a bit iffy for freeform where time is so fluid. As such, it ends up being one-time "I win" button, which tend to lead to rather binary fights where the outcome is clear from the start.

Since your character is amazingly fast already, I think it'd be better for the game and benefit the character more if you changed that ability to something else. There's no pressure, seeing that it's a future ability, so you can take your time with it. If you're struggling for ideas, I'm sure we can do something to help.
