Did I? Probably. Been so long, I can't remember.

And in all honesty, I only have two characters that I'm trying to go evil with. Ivaz and Zavi. The rest are good, with varying degrees of success.

Who has the highest power level in nexus?

I've spoilered the following because it's both long and dripping with ego, so be warned.

It depends on how you measure power.

For example, given enough prep time, money, and resources, Magtok could build a giant fighting robot suit, cover it in purple anti-magic paint, and then punch Draken Frosthand in his giant frosty lizard mouth. If you were to take any old ordinary Magtok clone off the streets though, and throw the two in a ring without allowing the two to prepare, Maggy's dead in seconds.

For yet another, more contemporary example, LANTERN's an entire hero organization, it could easily invade the MagCave and use its combined might to massacre all of the cyborg's clones and ruin all of his robots. They might lose a member or two in the process, but in the end, Maggy wouldn't have a chance. However, with just one TV interview and broadcast, Magtok completely demolished LANTERN's public image. He might do it again, given half a chance, and has more than enough experience in the villain biz to stay several steps ahead of Maxios and Rae, should they try to come after him and AMEN.

That's not to say that Magtok's the Nexus equivilant of the Joker or something, though. He uses guns that he hasn't been trained in shooting, and aims about as well as you might expect because of that. His idea of "tactics" involves getting behind something or someone and shouting to everyone in the area that he's just the victim and that his assailant is evil and needs to be tackled to the ground and put in a chokehold by the nearest good-willed samaritan PC in range. He's absolutely terrified of Saint Nil's deity of choice, refuses to upset the Empire for fear of having his MagCave swarmed by government spooks, and once surrendered to a Town cop because she had a big magical sword to cut him with.

He's not completely without mercy, and a properly executed guilt trip is all it takes to stop him, sometimes. Holding Sunny, Happy, Melody, Elly, Butler, Ilpholin (don't ask), Mime, or even Clone Reinholdt at gunpoint (And other people too, but I can't think of any more names right at the moment) would probably be enough to force him into surrendering, too. Luckily for him, most Nexusians with sufficient motive to destroy him don't have enough of an understanding of how he works to do so.

So depending on how you look at things, Magtok might very well be one of the weakest characters in the Nexus, or he might be the scariest, most vile, dangerous, and unstoppable force around.

I'll just add that a good description and cleverness will often accomplish more than lots of mighty, fancy powers written on the character sheet.
Also, I'm thinking about which mess WATCHTOWER, or at least some of its members - I know Spyridon and Shawna are a bit itching for something to do - could get itself involved with. Vampires? Or AMEN's recent surge of competence and activity? Wenomir's private dimensional excursion will have to wait, I suppose.

You know what's fun? Coming up with a very raw character idea them just throwing him/her wherever and sorting out the details as you go.

My newest guy, Kirk, I just threw him into AMEN only knowing he'd be dressed like one of the blues brothers and evil. I didn't even know he'd be a drow until I typed it.

Now he's an evil drow *gasp* that gets his power from signing contracts with demons and devils. I mean that if he wants to throw a ball of hellfire a contract appears in front of him and he signs in blood, every time.

He also has a multitude of demons bound to his body and mind. Oh and a pen that automatically fills with his own blood.

Point is, lots of fun to just go with your gut for your characters.

Good point. I have a headache so I forget about things. I'll also list the pros and cons of them vis a vis the mission. Lesse...
- KR. Wenomir definetly trusts her, she has some experience with souls and probably can handle dimensional travel. The con is, of course, that timezones rear their ugly heads again.
- DC. Wenomir trusts him, but I don't think he's got the abilities needed.
- Decker. Little girl Decker probably isn't strong enough and catgirl Decker can't do it.
- Butler. Yeah, right.
- Happy Amakirr. Semi-retired.
- Other WATCHTOWER members: while he might not trusts them completely, they still rank higher than others. Ilyena, Spyridon and Shawna might be able to help.

Kirk should meet Dam'Bul. One is a guy who has demons in his brain, the other's a demon in the brain of a guy.

Also, does Wenomir trust Terrowin? He's got some experience in planar travel. Plus, Terrowin thinks of Wenomir as one of the closest things he has to a friend.

Wenomir feels rather ambivalent about Terrowin. Yes, he did save his skin once, but he's still a demon worshipper who's tempting people into selling themselves out to a demon lord(and before you ask yes, it's not exactly accurate, but that's how Wenomir sees it). So I'm afraid he won't ask him, sorry.

Dalev is actually a bit like that. He's the classic "musician who sold his soul to the devil" except he didn't stop at only selling his soul once, and is kind of a freelance cleric of evil gods. You want a soul and can't get your infernal hands on it the normal way? Dalev can get it, no questions asked.

Dalev walks into Trog's, his lute strapped to his back, and notices the aftermath of the fight, a roguish grin upon his face. There is most certainly a profit to be made here, one way or the other he thinks, as he sits down on a table and begins to play, a fast paced song this time. There is no magic behind the notes, nor would the effect be noticeable as coming from him, but everyone in the tavern should start to get noticeably angrier.

2. You may want to re-word that a bit. There probably isn't a type of attack in existence that could affect everyone in Trog's at any one time, given the variance in species, powers, defences, etc. It would be better to say 'People who hear him may find themselves growing angrier.'
3. Everyone's pretty angry as it is. Can't really see that changing. ))

(It's not recognizable as magic. It's actually an effect of the music itself, and very hard to describe. Due to his demonic bargains, Dalev can play the original notes, used to build at least one universe, which have a corrupting effect on those who hear them.)
