Okay, here's what happened. I typed out a post yesterday, but apparently something happened and it didn't get posted.

Sunny, having no reason to not trust Blaze doesn't question it. "It's just odd. It wasn't there when you took him out of the room." she says, examining it again to see any changes. "You can visit Brawny if you want, but there's not really anything you can do for the other patients right now. Maybe once they wake up you can help with their psychology, but not much you can do while they're unconscious." she says, and continues doing her best to attend to all the patients.

In the few seconds she took to talk to Blaze, the cut hadn't undergone any significant change. Though, giving it a second look, it didn't seem quite as deep as she thought. Must've been a trick of the light or something.

As for the other patients, the antidote seemed to be working as intended, as they slipped from a drugged stupor into a more natural rest. If they ever were conscious, it wasn't for very long. A merciful thing; waking to their injuries and starving bellies would've been a rude awakening indeed. Perhaps it was best they sleep and recover. Sandy's own condition seemed stable enough. Still not to where she'd be entirely comfortable with waking him up, but at least he wasn't getting worse.

"Alright. Sandy probably won't be awake tomorrow. He'll need rest for a while longer before it's safe to wake him up. I'm hoping the other two will just wake up naturally once the stuff is gone.

After applying the antidote, I think it's safe to end the day for Sunny.

[The Dark Forces Facility]

Deep in their safe room, Copper Shine listened to the steady pound of hoofbeats storming the once-pristine facility. The reinforcements served more as a distraction; for reasons the golden-red pony couldn't quite place, the words of a certain lieutenant stuck in his mind. Having another pony there, watching him, judging him, it made his skin crawl. But why? Why should he feel any more shame for this?

"Something wrong?" Snow Angel sat opposite, examining a rack of blood-filled vials. "You haven't said a word since we got here."

Copper shook his head. "I'll be fine, Snow. More importantly, did the samples pull through?"

"See for yourself. Not a crack. You outdid yourself back there." Copper examined the samples, neither smiling or frowning. Snow put a hoof on his shoulder. "And we're still here, remember? We're going to fix this. It won't be much longer now."

Copper didn't shy away from her hoof. The little touch banished his doubts back to the deepest corners of his mind. They knew what they were doing. It was a necessary evil to save the world, it had to be. He picked up one of the vials that would be their, no, everypony's salvation. The label read:

Sample 12. Subject: Sandy Shores

A wan smile creeped onto the earth pony's face as he held the sample up to the light. "Yes...I suppose it will be over quite soon indeed..."

She looked outside for any birds passing by. The relative motion would make this an interesting challenge.

MmmMmm 'dat Las Haygas strip, Fox Trot's eyes lit with a devilish look of amusement. It was a long while since the cad stepped hoof into the little city of sin. First time was when his father took him on fifteen-equivalent birthday, oh the things he saw. Err. Second was a few year ago, oh the shenanigans then,

"Aye. Since it's still some aways off, I think I'm gonna get myself some sweet sweet alcohol." Shell Shock flipped the key into his own bags and trotted off. Whether she succeeds in doing anything more than looking a bit odd is anypony's guess.

"Let's get going, standing around here won't progress anything," He made a tilt of his head, waved a hoof good bye to the others who were still there and started to strut.

"Treat her well, Fox. I am a fan of reds, purples, and oranges. Sometimes vivid blues in accents. Those are the true colors of the season. Don't let the clerks tell you otherwise."
