After some point and lots of reluctancy Ember was given the boot from the doctor's clinic.

Wait a minute...something else was off...where was his sword?! He looked at the empty sheath....his rapier was gone. It was a family heirloom, smithed by the finest of smiths with a beautiful handle...and now it was gone.

He then remembered waking up in that one pony's home, it must be there! Like a foolish foal who was not thinking rationally who galloped towards Mach's house neglecting his wing and the shape it was in.

"Two things on that. One, it has to do with why Rockem is here. Two, get comfortable. This isn't going to be pleasant, but it's part of my job description."

"One of your crew stopped by the town's Public Works Guild yesterday to ask for help ordering some specialty parts. Last night, the guild was robbed. Lots of things were stolen. We're still getting a full list actually, but it includes magical engineer and construction items, protective gear, physical enhancers, that sort of thing; high value equipment; and several one-of-a-kind inventions developed in-house for them. Now, I don't honestly think any of your crew stole the stuff. I hear about all sorts of property damage 'following' you and your crew around, but no actual malice on your part towards civilians or friendlies. Personally, I think it's connected to some joker who tried to invade our home a couple of days ago, but I have no evidence yet. However, I'm obligated to ask around, especially since alot of what was stolen would be of particular interest to an airship crew. I'm here to ask you and your crew if you know anything that could help our investigation."

"However I'll question my crew nonetheless and provide assistance as well in capturing this knave. I'll have you know we have a good hoof in slaying monsters and catching bad guys and generally kicking flank."

Rose stared at her drink, tears rolling down her face. She felt like Lone Star had personally betrayed her (again) and she couldn't do anything, not yet. She knew him - he'd want to stay by that mare's side at least long enough to be sure she was ok... and she'd try and charm him and... and...

She broke down in sobs at the bar, burying her face in her forelegs. She was losing the only colt she ever loved, and all because that stupid mare wouldn't just do the decent thing and die...

But... it worked. Mach's not ready to reveal some of the workings of it due to the implications to polite pony society. He did it, made her death mean something. The pegasus wipes off a tear he didn't realize he was shedding then realizes there's somepony upstairs.

Mach pours over some readings and the state of his machine after this morning's little incident. Better than expected result for such a low power drain. The collection units have already brought available levels almost to normal. Granted he's going to have to pay the power bill for his fridge when it's used.

However, with our work capacity more than cut in half with this theft, we won't be able to keep that promise. We haven't had to inform a client of a delay in over a decade, and I regret that I have to inform you of one now, but this is how it is."

"Electromagical charged blood infusion. Routing it through the machinery at extreme power draw simulates the healing magic of several specialized unicorns," Mach replies flatly in a single breath. To him, that's about as simple an explanation before it sounds silly and stupid.

He turns around and finds Ember hiding his mark with a cloak. That's familiar, not his business to pry though. "If you're going out, especially around here, I'd spend a few bits on getting a replacement weapon and somepony to make sure you don't get over your head alone."

"I am beginning to think you hurt yourself on purpose." Hover says as she finishes wrapping Blaze's head. She then rolls her eyes and leans in for a cheek kiss.

He turns his head swiftly, causing her to kiss him.

Outside The Cirrus, Captain Gearstride takes notice of two ponies right there, looking like they're waiting for something.

"Pardon me civilians, can I help you with something?" She asks them hammily and puffs her pony chest a bit.

While Grills had only gone through a few folders there was a comic moment when he looked over and saw Fantasia speed reading through folder after folder that she was floating around her. "Um, nothing yet... She moved more folders over to where she could see them. "Wait, I found something!" she ushered Grills over to the file. "It's a log from 20 years ago. It was 9 months after I was born." she pulled another file towards them. "This one is five years later." By each log was a stork and the letters B.M.

Grills hurried over to Fantasia and put a hoof on her shoulder. He then looked down at the open files. "After you birth? Stork? BM? What does this mean? Were you born here?"

He turns his head swiftly, causing her to kiss him.

A weird compulsion drove him to explore further. He saw Icy's door slightly ajar and....

....he was not prepared for the sight he saw. He could smell it in the air, their own bodies gave it away even if it looked like they were just cuddling. Shame his honed senses told him everything. His heart skipped a beat....an anger swelled in him that dared to peek under his nonchalant mask.

Lone Star blinked. "I want to say this isn't what it looks like, but... really, it's totally what it looks like..."

Esmeralda turned around just as Fox Trot walked in on the. "Well, look who decided to join the party..." she purred, already thinking of the possibilities.

"I know exactly what this is, Lone Star," His words were surprisingly venomous, considering he had always spoken in an affable tone around them. An affable friendly tone that showed annoyance once in a while, but never venom like this.

"I'm not even gone for a whole day and you've already gone and....and defiled Miss Icy Touch," Fox bit his lip to control the tone of his voice. His voice instead took on the tone of suppressed rage and sadness. This actually hurt...Fox knew what he was getting himself into....but it still hurt. He felt like one of those 9-5 employees who just got home from a long' day of hard work...only to find his wife in bed with another. Obviously he and Icy weren't married, that wasn't the point, the point was the feeling he felt seeing this. This only cemented how he must have felt about Miss Icy Touch.

"Defiled? I object to that-" Esmeralda's voice was drowned out by the two stallions who seemed intent on arguing. She sat back and pouted as they continued to ignore her.

Lone Star raised a hoof. "First, this is E-Icy - er, Esmeralda at the moment. Second, the moment the afterglow wears off, I'll probably freak out over this even more than you are."

"Hold your barbed tongue. It doesn't matter that's its Esmeralda or whatever you're calling Miss Icy Touch's other side...you still....defiled her...and it only took you to notice I wasn't here to go on and do that.." Fox wasn't being completely comprehensible, it was the anger talking.

The afterglow wore off and his eyes shot wide open, his mouth agape with horror. "OH CELESTIA AND LUNA, WHAT THE HELL HAVE I DONE?!"

He dashed out of the room into the room over and slammed the door shut. Banging can be heard in the room he's in, spaced apart by two or three seconds each.

Esmeralda blinked as the pegasus rushed out just like that. "I suppose it could be worse?" she said uncertainly. She turned to face Fox. "So, are you going to stand there all day, or do I have to drag you into bed as well?" she teased, evidently deciding to ignore the angry look on his face.

Oh. It's about that failed little adventure she's still blaming on him anyway. His boss' reaction to this seems a little extreme, and Staccata needs a second to mull through some reactions to this. She takes a step back and motions for Tyrol to have Skeletor back off.

"That sounds more like they were giving you a way out. If you're looking for sympathy because you're letting a threats get in the way of doing what needs to be done, you're talking to the wrong mare."

Such spite and venom... It sort of shocks Staccata for a moment as her thoughts race to catch up.

"Tyrol." She shakes her head and mane for a second composing herself. "Whatever anypony thinks of me, I'm not dying a whimpering mess afraid to finish their own work."

Tyrol stood firm between the skeleton pony and Staccata while they conversed... or traded barbs rather.

As he disappeared, he glanced at the mare to ensure she was okay. "I suppose so," he answered quietly. He maintained a painfully polite expression throughout the short exchange.

Sandy carefully unscrewed the panel to the main ventilation controls. He was as silent as possible; not wanting to alert Silverpine to his presence. So far so good, he only needed to remove one more screw and...

The panel fell off the wall and clattered noisily on the deck. In his care to remove the screws silently, he completely forgot to hold the stupid panel in place.

His room was rather sparten. There was a poster of the Wonderbolts signed by all the female members. He admired the mares specifically because they were able to make sharp turns more easily then the male members. Spitfire had written her number in the corner but Blaze had never called her. He sat on his bed with its orange sheets and blankets that matched his coat perfectly.

Esmeralda shifted closer to Fox and lifted up his chin with a hoof. "Why, I thought this is what you wanted," she said, in the same teasing voice. Another hoof was secretly advancing on his neck, stroking him there.

"Ahem," Gear cleared her throat as she addressed them once more giving them the same little spiel.

"We're supposed to be given a tour by Silverpine..." Tyrol replied, sizing up the mare who addressed him. Seemed to be a competent opponent.

Grills hurried over to Fantasia and put a hoof on her shoulder. He then looked down at the open files. "After you birth? Stork? BM? What does this mean? Were you born here?"

"I don't think so..." She thought really hard. "B.m......B.M........ Baby Molly! My dad would read it to me every night! It was about this baby filly who was brought to her parents via stork."

"Fine? It's boiling down in the engine room, and Hover was complaining about it last night. I'm just checking for malfunctions. Not gonna tweak it." he explained, trying to sound apologetic. Although, it is kinda hot up here too...
