She looks a bit anaemic herself.

Her voice is soft, only a little above a whisper, in fact, though just loud enough to be audible without undue strain.

Then she'll do a finger prick to get a small amount of blood. Part of it is used to do an iron test nd , then the rest she puts in a small tube. "I'll just take this to our taster now," Heidi says.

She takes it out to Aunt Riley, the talkative drow vampire elderly lady with the crazy hat, who tastes it. I leave it up to you to decide whether it has any sort of unusual taste or just tastes like regular old blood.

Indeed she is. And it turns out that, oddly enough, she's a vampire; she suspects that this means her blood does have some oddities to it, but she's not what they are, if she's correct.

As for the blood, it tastes like that of a human with minor deific heritage, but with a slightly sharp edge, as while it came from Carrie, a lot of the power in it dissipated while it was stored, and Polly filtered enough of the rest out to make it noticeable, but not extremely so; it also has a bitter-sweet undercurrent, and should feel fairly invigorating, though that effect is proportionate to the amount consumed.

Technically Garn have grunted and sighted before so it's not really his first sound. The gargoyle shrugs, not really looking as encouraged as Dorota, still he decides to repeat what he just did. "Skraa-eee." He utters.

After a moment, Riley produces an offer. They'll only take a pint of blood, since it's her first time, and they aren't sure how it'll affect her, but the price they'll pay for it is generous. (Maybe the equivalent of a fortnight's salary for a middle class person? *handwaves Nexus monetary stuff*)

Needs tries to mumble something about luck and charms and some nonsense about basic laws of thermodynamics and that good fortune cannot be made, it has to be siphoned from something, usually deities with such a domain, just like magic.

That isn't anything Amil has access to! She doesn't even have access to non-magical healing. The jeanstealer can make things die. But making things better? That really isn't very high on a Tyranid's list of skills.

"Ah... okay. I don't think there's anywhere at Mallside that offers healing services..." hmmm. Maybe that weird kid at the Barkhouse Bestiary? Nah, he only works with living things. And Kat is apparently too machine like for that.
