Also... now I want to play Shane in D&D. Sword and Fist (3.0) had a PrC with wonderful fluff straight out of the man with no name style of Western (which fits for Shane as he only went by a nickname) who wanders into town, helps the townsfolk, and then leaves. Unfortunately it had a lot of Su abilities, and a huge fluff-crunch conflict which left me rather unhappy (then again how else are you going to introduce a "you may not reveal your name" rule).

    Speaking of Mothra....

But yeah, I do love Mothra. Especially for her glorious victory over chainsaw-Gigan in Godzilla: Final Wars.

Really any martial character, any edition, could be Shane. Oh yeah crossbow, or a pistol, would help in ways but the important thing about him is how he acts not the weapon he wields. Although his talk about the fastest draw and where to wear your holster was awesome.

And Mothra is the best monster Gojira ever fought.

Heh, well this isn't the first time on this forum that someone thought me older. I simply don't understand though. Everyone keeps overestimating my age despite all my efforts to be a silly man-child.

Hmmm, Mothra is quite awesome, but I've always loved King Ghidorah and Gigan (especially as he appears in Godzilla: Final Wars) the most.

Maybe it's because of your continually referencing Chesterton and Aquinas, and carrying on philosophical discourse. Those are not traits commonly associated with youth. Not that there's anything wrong with them, of course; they're a big part of why I like you.

I have to actively prune my Most Visited list so it isn't a solid list of Giantitp links. After I'm done deleting those I get to a few dozen more, and then the webcomics I read that I check often every day.

Tonight, there was this big, beautiful and wonderfully bright full moon, and the way it lit up the thin clouds made the night even more magical. However, the street lights obscured too much and were a general nuisance out on the street level, but I couldn't think of any place that was shadowed from them while still having a clear view of the moon. My solution was to climb out on the roof to watch it from there. Truly magical, I was in awe.

Also, every time I gaze up the sky I know that one day I'll have to make my way up there. I don't have many goals in life, but getting a flight certificate is one of them. One day, I'll adore the night sky from above... *tear in eye*
