Ow. That hurt. Karyana's legs shift to heavily spiked tentacles, which try to wrap around Dam'Bul and squeeze, much like spiny pythons.

Dam'Bul is grabbed and squeezed. He'll try and bite any tentacle that gets too close to his mouth- his teeth are really sharp, and due to his nature they're inherently magical as well.

Nephrim continues stabbing with her knee blade and wrist blade.

Nephrim continues to not hit another heart.

The tentacles form beaks on the ends, and try to burrow into Dam'Bul.

Prometheus, noting the lack of effect impaling Rael's heart has, immediately decides to finish Sarah off first, so he can concentrate all his firepower on getting rid of this apparently immortal vampire. Tearing the spear out of Rael's chest, Prometheus draws his gauss rifle win one hand and opens fire, not able to aim while at the same time keeping his guard up against Rael, but merely firing blindly in her direction. Of course, as the gauss rifle is a railgun that fires three round bursts of dense molten tungsten with about the same force as a sniper rifle, the force currently adjusted so that the bullets will move slow enough to cauterize the wounds and prevent healing, he only really needs to get one lucky shot.

Four hooded, cloaked casters go running by Cyrus!

Wait, Sarah attacked Greg. Prometheus is free to fight both of them without blood coming out of his brain.

Nephrim's Room

Dam'Bul begins resisting all the more. These beak-things hurt! He's putting all his supernatural strength behind breaking free, and tries to claw them with his toes and fingers as well as biting them.

Nephrim tries to headbutt Karyana's torso in addition to stabbing wildly. It might distract her if she's not expecting it, though it's likely not very effective.

Karyana isn't expecting it. But, if Nephrim isn't quick, she might find that a newly formed mouth is trying to chew on her head.

Karyana is also superhumanly strong. So... I guess it depends on which is stronger? How much can Dam'Bul lift/throw/push?

Sarah gets a tungsten slug through the spleen! It had only barely regenerated from the first impaling!

In any case, Sarah's down. Ouch. And bleeding out from all those self-inflicted wounds. Wonderful.

If D. Lord wants her alive for his own humor, it should probably act soon.



In other News, the Battle is interrupted by a random pillar of Hellfire as Cyrus returns from his just-plain-sad antics at the GLoG Charity Fair!

He's momentarily surprised by this random violence, and decides to sit down with his lemonade and watch.

There's a henchwoman sitting on the couch! She's... gasp!, taking a break. Almost unheard of among the minions. Anyway, Pink is wearing a pink bathrobe and is watching the fight with a particularly bored expression. In one hand, she has a cup of tea, and in the other her usual clipboard. She glances down at it, wondering if her tightly run minion slave drive schedule might be interrupted by these current events.

"Huh. What is all this even about?"

Rael's injuries, oddly, don't heal. Instead, the blood is flowing toward Sarah.

[Reinholdt]

"Geeze. You people overreact soooo much. One date is not worth killing anyone over. Or chains." Stu shakes his petals in a manner akin to shaking one's head.

He goes to usher his hostage out of the room. Heck if his prize is going to get hurt in some lover's spat. Somehow I doubt she'll object to leaving the general area.

Prometheus's visor, which he's been wearing ever since using it to scan Karyana, flips down over his eyes and switches to thermal mode at a command word muttered under his breath. As having their heart impaled is basically the one weakness nearly all vampires share, and Rael was unaffected by a strike to where his heart should have been, Prometheus's first instinct is to check and make sure his heart simply isn't in another spot. This is partly because Prometheus himself was designed this way, his own heart two inches away from where a normal human's would be.

Immediately spotting the multiple hearts, Prometheus attacks, aiming a rapid strike at the second of Rael's hearts while at the same time firing at the vampire leg's, hoping to cripple him.

It is at this point that the hooded casters finally arrive, bursting through the doorway and moving to surround Sarah, all four of them already beginning to cast, moving in perfect harmony.

Sarah's busy lying in a pool of her own blood. She's unconscious and not casting anything, though the blood will burn like acid if they're dumb enough to actually touch it. That's a passive effect that she doesn't even need to maintain.

As no-one stopped the blood, Sarah should be healing now.

The injury to Rael's first heart heals. His second is struck. Rael's legs are also damaged rather badly, and their wounds aren't healing, or at least are doing so slowly.

Magtok raises an eyebrow at Pink from across the couch, wondering how anyone could possibly be crazy enough to wear a bathrobe around in public like that. The irony is entirely lost on him. "I dunno, henchmeat. I can't say for certain, but I believe Stu has a double-date or something, and Prometheus is envying the hell out of our favorite fire flower, so he's beating up Guy A and Girl B, who came here to bring them all somewhere. Meanwhile, I think the girl he's supposed to go out with, Girl C, is busy being interrogated by Dam'Bul and Nephrim in some kinky torture room. Maybe, not totally sure." He glances upwards in thought, wondering why he ever thought it'd been a good idea to bring Elly to a place like this. Hopefully he'll remember to steer the hell away from this dump, the next time a girl is crazy enough to find him attractive, some of the other members get hella jealous. "Oh, and Kirk is in the middle of a clandestine affair with the tiny cactus plant Gordon put on his desk last Wednesday. Don't tell him I told you about that, though."

Gordon heads into the room. Things have gone on long enough.

"Prometheus, try not to kill them. Its much harder to get answers from the dead, and I wants some answers."

Gordon hits a button, and the laser turrents hidden by the front door come out of hiding and point at Rael.

"Care to surrender, or will we continue til you are unable to move?"

"I see..."

Pink sips her tea thoughtfully. She's actually wearing her normal clothes under the bathrobe. She's not stupid, after all.

"You have a rather relationship focused mind, don't you?"

The henchwoman allows herself a slight smirk.

"Fine."

"I had no intention of killing them. At least not unless capture proved impossible." Prometheus says, reholstering the gauss rifle but staying alert, ready to stab Rael through his third, and hopefully final, heart should he try anything.

The casters, meanwhile, weave a net of golden light around Sarah's general vicinity, a dome of interwoven lines of light, which should catch any spells she tries to cast and hurl them back at her. Should this work, they will then begin to try and heal her, at least enough that she can walk.

Sarah should be somewhat healed already, as Rael was using his version of blood magic to do so, but given the interruption, she could probably still use more.

And he has at least four hearts, so that he can't be killed in one blow by an extraordinarily flexible trident.

She won't regain consciousness for some time, but seems to be healing. Godmoding approved, though the blood will still burn anyone who touches it.

"Very good then."

Gordon snaps his fingers, and some henchmen come over with some handcuffs.

"Now, as soon as your friend recovers, I'll ask you both some questions and we can see about when you both can leave."

"Three. You have your numbers wrong, or are sadly mistaken."

Rael shifts his wrists to a size that will fit the handcuffs, as the scales take up quite a bit of room.

[ThirdEmperor]

"Sir, two things. First off, you may question the girl, but I have prior business with this vampire, and must insist he dealins in my custody. And two, handcuffs will do little against a shapeshifter like him." With that, Prometheus snaps his fingers and the casters move over to Rael, attempting to conjure the same sort of net around him as they did around Sarah.

Greg is still lying unconscious by the door.

"Fine, but I want to question him myself later."

Gordon goes over and tries to pick up Greg. This is one of the times which he wishs that AMEN had a medical doctor, and not just doctors of science.

Rael isn't suicidal, and thus doesn't even try to stop the magic net from being made.

"What prior business would that be?"

Greg is on the scrawny side, and can be easily picked up.
