"I cannot EXPLAIN, the DOOM creature! If I EXPLAIN it, you will comprehend it! I -" she begins to go on another one of her mad ramblings, when Sornnolu tries to get her attention. She blinks.

"You DARE interrupt THE GREAT CYBAN?"

Sam Saturday also ignores Cyban. Well, not ignores, quite. He assumes she's a publicity stunt meant to attract customers.

And have you ever wanted to? I'd be only to happy to help, and allowing someone to understand their dear pet is well within the bounds of my magic. Sam asks, taking one of his many wands from his pocket and giving it an experimentory wave. He'd speak with a slight lisp though, I'm afraid.

"No that's okay, I can usually figure out what he means. Besides, he doesn't like people other than me casting spells on him." Genevieve says.

Meanwhile Jenkins is still flying around people and screeching. All this excitement has him riled up.

"No." The drow replies, pulling on all the patience he can muster. "I am respectfully asking for your attention so I may ask you a question."

Rather than waiting for her to give a response (which would likely be long and loud) Sornnolu moves right on to his query. "Upon who's authority do you come to conquer this place?"

[Reinholdt]

Butler decides being quiet might be a better option at this point.

"See, now you're just being unreasonable. Why should we fear you if we don't know exactly what doom we're being threatened with? It's ba- hey, I'm talking to you!"

You DARE interrupt the GREAT RO- wait, no, that's someone else's line. The vampire just scowls at Sornnolu and Cyban. He gives Ilpholin a little wave as she slips out, though. Unless she was being extra stealthy about it.

[Gullara]

"Well I'm glad that's over." Tina says, giving a skeptical glance toward Cyban.

"You and me both." Kirk never looked like he was tense earlier, but he definitely seems to relax after Feia leaves. "Hopefully I won't have have to deal with her for a while. It's inevitable that I'll have to sometime, regrettably."

[Reinholdt]

"See, now you're just being unreasonable. Why should we fear you if we don't know exactly what doom we're being threatened with? It's ba- hey, I'm talking to you!"

Ilpholin will give a wave in return as she exits. Rot was one of the two people from AMEN that she actually misses.

Evan stands. He's been studiously ignoring Cyban this entire time, "Alright, I'll leave you two lovebirds alone. I'm sure you don't want me getting between you two any more than Alice."

Unless stopped, he's going to leave. Walk right past Cyban, too

"FOOLISH CREATURE, do you think a member of the GLORIOUS RACE OF ArZOOT would require PERMISSION from such pathetic creatures?"

She laughs again!

[Reinholdt]

"Umm... but you did ask me back at GLoG ma'am." Butler points out very helpfully.

[TechnoScrabble]

"Hy em likink dis nev boss. Hey boss, vere kan Hy get a set uf arms like dat?" Keith seems to be taking this as a joke.

[Devixer]

"And do you honestly expect these creatures to simply allow you to take over?" If the Operative had a sense of humor, he'd probably be very amused. But, he has about as much of a sense of humor as a face.

"No." Sornnolu replies calmly. "Only from me." The sinister smile following the statement is the only warning Cyban will get before a blast of electricity is sent her way, courtesy of a spell cast by the drow.

Cyban blinks for a split second as the blast shoots towards her, barely getting time to register before she is thrown back off of her feet and skidding back across the floor. Her cybernetics do not seem to respond well to this as she writhes on the ground, sparks and jumps of electricity coursing through her for a moment. A device or dial here and there bursts, and her backpack (which was already badly damaged) explodes.

A puff of thick smoke obscures her from view.

"Boss! Boss, hyu hokay?" Keith jumps up and runs over to check on Cyban. He then turns and glares at Sornolu, pointing his canister rifle at the drow.
"Dat vas not a very schmot tink to do, friend."

Ivaz winces a little at the sight. Ouch. Poor kid. She shakes her head a little, then finishes her drink. And I was starting to like her.

[Devixer]

The Operative merely watches the smoke. Another good employment opportunity, gone. Of course, he'd learned quickly that people in the Nexus were more hardy than usual. The spectre tries to read any intact minds that may be in the thick cloud of smoke.

[Reinholdt]

"What did you do that for sir?!"

Butler goes to rush over to Cyban and check and make sure she was alright and not dead. Even if he can't see through smoke.

[Darklord Bright]

If she's alright, she's certainly not moving. Or thinking. Or breathing. As the smoke clears, she appears to just be... lying there on her back, covered in heavy burns and wounds from her exploding machinery. Her eyes are open, but... not moving.

Mildly annoyed, Sornnolu waves a hand at the smoke.

"I will not tolerate anyone trying to usurp power in this city." The drow replies to Butler coldly. "Have I made myself clear?" He asks, projecting so the entire bar could hear him.

"Hyu dere, hendzum kat man. Take kare uf our pretty liddle friend," Keith orders Butler, then fires at Sornolu with warning. Luckily for everyone involved, this is not a mini-nova round being fired as usual, but a scatterail canister, which contains several small railguns inside it that are fired soon after the canister leaves the gun.
