Reinholdt's mind clicks through places he's been that might qualify. His castle home? Obviously not. The lake? Bad memories just thinking of it. The rest was such a blur and so far away now.

His travels with Cal? Rarely stayed in one place long enough to get attached, let alone feel peace.

So here then. Glass Citadel? ... maybe. Mixed feelings there, along with a still desperate, and never fulfilled longing. GLoG? He didn't really enjoy his jail time. MagCave? Pure business. Outside? He liked it, but didn't stick to one spot.

The taverna? It'd have to do. The place next to the fireplace was a bit of a comfort. And the room he had provided him all of the solitude and none of the stigm... Shepherd died there.

He settles for the place in front of the fireplace in the study in the Glass Citadel. He doesn't feel love there, but there's a small sense of peace, no matter how awkward.

Fortunately it's emphasized by Melody's sending of warmth and happiness. He just concentrates on the warmth of the fire and the sparkling of the moonlight. He adores the moonlight so much. It's probably why he stays in the Citadel even now. Constant moonlight.

Melody will probably notice it took a great deal of trouble getting to that spot.

Open Area

Irene looks on in wonder, but waits patiently. "I'm not afraid."

[celtois]

The butterflies slowly attach themselves to her.. covering most of her back.. After which lady butterfly Pushes herself into the air with her wings.. All the little butterflies on Irene's back flap as well allowing her to at least gain some upwards lift. However it's mostly by holding Lady butterflies soft hand that Irene will likely find herself horizontal and in the air. See.

"I see. Very clever." Irene says, grinning in... ecstasy at the flight. She seems to really be enjoying this a lot.

[celtois]

Lady Butterfly smiles. It's a wonderful feeling. Leaving behind the ground. They gradually fly higher with each flap propelling them upwards and off to who knows where.

[Reinholdt]

Well I hope Lady Butterfly knows where. She's leading this expedition.

"Wow. Feel that wind. It's such a rush. You go flying often?"

[celtois]

Course not... that's part of the fun. Where you end up.


Whenever I can, it helps me relax now that I'm here on this plane.

[Reinholdt]

Bah. I prefer to know where I'm going and get there.

"This plane? You're not from this one then?"

Ashna looks at him oddly, wondering if that has some hidden meaning. No, but we could get some if you'd like. We have to eat something, right? She walks over to an elevator. Thing.

[celtois]

Yeah.. most people do.. But she's not most people.

Of course not. Do I really seem like I belong here?

[Reinholdt]

"I think you belong here." Irene smiles warmly at Lady Butterfly.

"And from my understanding of this place, there are things far odder than you that are natives here. So you'll understand why I'm a bit surprised you weren't."

[celtois]

Well I really don't. You should have seen me after I'd been here for a while the first time. She blushes... failing to mention how she was made better from the first trip here.

[Reinholdt]

"Oh? What happened during your first visit then?" Well now she went and made Irene all curious.

[celtois]

I...I lost what it was to be a fey. Someone helped me restore myself.

[Reinholdt]

"You'll have to forgive me for inquiring further. I've only recently become fey myself after all. What does it mean to lose what it is to be fey?

Melody will probably notice it took a great deal of trouble getting to that spot.

Good. It feels good doesn't it. Don't concentrate on it, just let it flow through you. To become one with you. Melody concentrates more on the love aspect. Trying to draw out the feelings of love that Reinholdt may have recieved from others, or that he felt towards them, even if they were minute.

I lost my essence the dirt of the place ended up on my soul. It hid what I looked like and dimmed most of my powers. Only with help was I able to be cleansed and return home.. She blushes. Specifically when mentioning being cleansed.

Reinholdt would reply but... he's feeling... good? When did that happen?
Mmm... it was nice.
And there was love. Love for and from the backstabbing Tabitha... however false. Misguided love for his replacement father-figure Calublufiok. The unrequited love from Vasilisa and the strange appreciation for that. The twisted love of Rabbit, there, but overshadowed.

The pure love of and from Shepherd.

Reinholdt's mind starts resisting. He doesn't like this. Love. As can be seen, it's turned out quite horribly and he's confused as to why he's thinking about them now. No... not thinking. Feeling?

"How did your soul get dirty? Who helped? How was it cleansed?" Prodding questions!

[celtois]

Being away from nature for so long it just happened. Another nature spirit by the name of Angela. Well you need contact with other fey or nature to clean yourself.... She.... we kissed.

[Reinholdt]

[Open Skies]

"Kissed? Huh." Odd. Irene mulls this over in her mind. Kissing as cleansing was interesting.

[celtois]

Not.. really what I.... She trails off..

Not going quite as well as Melody had hoped......

Melody lessens the feelings of love. Instead, she tries to allow the feeling of peace through their natural surroundings flow through herself and into him. Hopefully allowing him to relax further, to blot out the bad, and allow only the good.

"What? You don't like kissing? I thought all fey did."

"Or... did you go further?" Irene smirks.

Melody is learning the hard way part of the reason he's so messed up then. No one said healing him would be easy.

With the love diminishing and the peace returning, Reinholdt is able to relax. Perhaps not as much as someone not as wound up as him, but it's flowing through quite well. He smiles a little, and soon forgets the things he was thinking about. He seems to be concentrating on the distant ocean sounds in particular, apparently finding them peaceful.

It's not that I don't like it........ She trails off No no further... just lots of kissing..

"Oh. Good. So if I were incredibly forward and just kissed you in the tavern you wouldn't have objected?"

[celtois]

Those skies.

I..... no I probably wouldn't have.
Though she is pretty shy.. so maybe.

"Ok. Just checking." Irene says, suddenly letting the subject drop. She just quietly flies along.

[celtois]

She fly's in silence for a fair while, too embarrassed to say much of anything.

"So do you like her? Angela?" Is she your girlfriend? goes unsaid.

[celtois]

I haven't seen her since I went home. She seemed nice enough though.

[Reinholdt]

"Oh. Shame." She doesn't sound all that upset about it actually. She resumes flying quietly.
