Not only that, but if the Captains and such arn't really big players in this game, I don't think its that big an issue people controling two "high ups". Draken controls the two leaders of the Arrancar faction, so its similar to that. Even less important since the lime light is on the mortal people.

Allan might work well for the role. He is part of the main patrol division, after all, and an unseated.

That can be how he and Reene meet. Not all hollows are meant to serve Las Noches (see Elder), and she would gladly slaughter any wild hollow that encroaches on her territory.

huh...that actually sounds like a better Idea than being saved by a shinigami or a Quincy...What does everyone else think? Good idea?

Personally I'd rather have a Captain (or even Vice-Captain) position be empty than have someone who already has a Captain take it. But that's me. Even if Captains aren't the focus, it isn't very fair for one person to take up more than one.

+1. We can deal with empty Captain spots- either they're just not revealed yet, or they're empty for some reason.

Doubling up, however, is unfair.

EDIT: I also have to +1 Strawberry on her idea. Having an empty or just unplayed Captain seat at the start of the game so someone else could fill it later on then letting someone hold multiple seats of power.

I have an idea for all Vizard characters, or at least any character who starts as a Vizard but then later becomes one.

No one who acquires an Inner Hollow during gameplay is allowed to play as their own character's Inner Hollow.

This makes sense to me because the Inner Hollow is a second character that has a great deal of interaction with the first, but in reality they think in a completely different way. That's their design. Just something to consider that I think would force any Vizard self-interaction to become one of significance.

TVGA, I think your idea is fantastic in theory, and should be encouraged by the group. But establishing it as a mandate troubles me.

I think if it's not mandated you better have a damn good reason why not to try it, besides "It's easier to do it this other way," because this is a story, and as cool as getting more power is, having a good story and plot is better. We've seen that it can work in the case of Overwilliam and Kasanip. It's worth trying with others. It's not like Hollowfication is an insignificant event in character development, after all.

I think it works better if you can't predict the other player's moves in an interaction. I've found writing interactions between yourself generally isn't that thrilling, for the reader or the writer. Things like how a Hollowfication are also much easier to make believable if you have multiple people thinking about it. After all, this way we might not run into "suspension of disbelief" issues that have occurred in the past with similar events, as the second person will be able to say "Yeah, that does not make any sense."

If you try it and it fails, then the person playing the Inner Hollow should be aware that you have the right to reclaim control over that character should the need for you to write the story yourself come up.

That's my personal belief, anyways. Anyone can feel free to do whatever they want so long as a majority of the community agrees.

It may not be so bad when they aren't interacting with anyone else, and no offense to OverWilliam or Kasanip, but when was the last time those two interacted with another character? Yeah, it's PbP, so it won't kill anyone to wait a little longer, but I don't feel we should say "If you want to be this type of character, you have to find another player that may or may not be in your same forum timeframe to play another necessary part of that character's existence, even if it ends up slowing things down in the long run".

Not saying it's a bad idea. But we shouldn't make it an absolute requirement.

An easy alternative to "I don't want to deal with timezone issues" is to just not become a Vizard. There should be less of them anyways.

I'm not saying it should be an absolute requirement, but it should be highly considered in every case. There are lots of people playing this game, so it's likely enough that you can co-ordinate if you want, and if you can't then don't. Besides the fact that the whole point of the Inner Hollow moots the point about not interacting with anyone else, as you shouldn't be doing that when you're solving your Inner Hollow problem anyways.
