That the red & black number with the midriff top? 'Cause that's the only one of the merc clothes I really thought looked very good.

A book about peoples of the past is unlikely to go out of date that quickly. Yes, our interpretations of the past do change over time, but really it's not microcomputing or one of those fields which constantly require updated knowledge.

Like our concepts of the paths of human evolution...they keep finding new branches that muddy things up and it's quite clear that many species died out...fifty years ago they thought it was all one line.

Yeah, I know. It is a good start... But what I really need to know is religions. When and where did Judaism develop, and what other religions was it in contact with, when and where?

Heh, my degree title is, "Hebrew and Old Testament Language Literature and Theology". I did one honours course in Ugaritic, and another in Ancient Near Eastern religions. But it really was a long time ago...
