Finally managing to locate a pencil stub and a cookbook with blank pages at the back for writing in your own recipes, Strahd writes down the solitary word "bacon" with a hastily scribbled question mark beside it, holding the page out for Ashtrek to read with a comically exaggerated expression of exasperation.

"Bac...? Strahd, did you loose your voice? Poor thing..."

Strahd nods, already hating this dumb pantomime he's been forced to. Just in case the question wasn't clear the first time, he adds a few more words to the previous query, changing it to; "Do you want bacon?"

Strahd shakes his head emphatically at the notion that this might be permanent, holding up three fingers as he walks over to the fridge to get some bacon...

And stops dead when he sees what's attached to the fridge door. Plucking the note from the fridge, he quickly reads, re-reads, and then re-reads just to make absolutely darn sure it says what he thinks it does.

Then he totally breaks into a happy-dance, which, for the uninformed, is a dance that looks unimaginably stupid you would never perform it unless you were too darn happy to care.
