"Sure, I guess." Misaki sits down, Trilby in her lap.

[Infirmary -> Pathfinder's Hut]

After hearing where Waterstrider is, Renetta is going to him. There will be no arguments. She hurries to the cabin as quickly as she can and steps inside. "Waterstrider?" She says as she steps over to the bed.

Pathfinder's Hut

When Renetta walks in, Waterstrider looks up, ears pointed in excitement as he hears her voice. He stays somewhat curled around Lily, but his tail moves back and forth as he waits for her.

[Pathfinder's Hut]

Renetta kneels by the bed, clearly still very worried. "Waterstrider? Can you understand me?" She is fairly certain not, but she's got to start somewhere.

Pathfinder's Hut

Waterstrider looks at her oddly, brow furrowed as a glint goes through his eyes, more intelligent than before. It stays for just a second before vanishing. He leans forward and nuzzles against Renetta gently. It seems she reached through to him for at least a moment.

[The Bushranger]

Main Cabin

"Then at least, tell them. Head off tomorrow?"

Jamie grins.
"I just asked. Mom says it's OK."

..she might have left out a few details...

[The Cactus Fence]

"OH!"

The ghoul suddenly realizes that she never said it! Of course, it's not completely her fault - she hasn't really been using a name for a while, and didn't really have a reason to use the one that nice man at the bar gave her until now.

"I THINK IT'S ANNABELLE. THAT'S WHAT WAS DECIDED ON, AT LEAST."

"A pleasure to meet you, Miss Annabelle."
The white-haired young man bows formally.
"Taurus Russkij, at your service."

[horngeek]

"Oh, right. Telepathy. In that case, we can head off as soon as we've packed. There's a window in..."

Abigail looks at a screen that appears in the air. "About an hour and a half. Then the next one after that's tomorrow."

Jamie isn't even telling me.

"Ooh, cool, I'll go pack!" Jamie grins.

Oddball can of course come along!
BR might actually even get on when Earl is on one of these days.

And Chiquita is coming along too!

...people will probably assume they're some kind of odd familiars.

In any case, Abigail will meet back up with Jamie in about an hour!

Stulpe, can you signal that we're ready?"

And fairly soon, they'll be teleporter off!

Renetta crawls into bed to lie beside him (with Lily possibly still there, separating them). She gazes sadly into his eyes. "Come back to me, Waterstrider." She whispers.

[GLoG Exit]

Enough of this silliness, Reelshka declares. I don't think you can be of any help though, Jamie. We need someone to track down an intruder. She decides not to mention that said intruder kidnapped Jamie's father.

Vidalia looks at Reelshka slightly confused, but lets it go, for now.Alright then. Let's go to NO. And off to NO she goes, followed by.....

[Pathfinder's Hut]

Renetta crawls into bed to lie beside him (with Lily possibly still there, separating them). She gazes sadly into his eyes. "Come back to me, Waterstrider." She whispers.

The 7 year old halfling girl is about the size of a human toddler, and is fast asleep. She can be easily moved to make room.

[Morty]

"Sure, I guess." Misaki sits down, Trilby in her lap.

And Caretaker begins to play. Brinika hums along to the melody.

The white-haired young man bows formally.

The ghoul doesn't seem entirely sure how to respond to this. It's not exactly as if people tend to treat the undead with any sort of courtesy, at least not as far as she's noticed. It's a little odd to actually receive it.

"WELL - THANK YOU, TAURRY." she smiles, "IS THERE SOMEWHERE WE CAN GO TO GET SOME OF THESE PRICKLES OUT?"

Pathfinder's Hut

Waterstrider nuzzles close to Renetta, trying to stick his muzzle into the crook of her neck so he can breathe in her scent, but is still careful to avoid her stomach. It won't take long before he's asleep once more, his body and mind trying to recover.

[Morty]

Vidalia looks at Reelshka slightly confused, but lets it go, for now.Alright then. Let's go to NO. And off to NO she goes, followed by.....

What? Reelshka sounds immensly surprised. Why should we hire mercenaries to do it? Shouldn't we, you know, tell Tobias' wife about it? She can try to contact him telepathically.

[Lex-Kat]

{Halfway out the exit}

Vidalia stops in her tracks. The little onion swivles around to look at Reelshka. Wait, Tobias is married? Why didn't you mention this idea before? she sounds displeased. Where can we find Quinn?

[Morty]

[GLoG Exit]

Reelshka scowls. I assumed everyone knew that. She's probably in the Infirmary or Main Cabin. Let's go there.

[Reinholdt]

[GLoG Exit]

"Do you really think a telephone will get service underground ma'am?"
It might! Depends on the service provider Butler guesses.

[Pathfinder's Hut]

The bed is probably rather crowded, but oh well. Renetta will take longer to fall asleep, but eventually her exhaustion takes hold and she won't be able to keep her eyes open any longer.

{Exit -> Infirmary}

Since they won't be leaving, Vidalia shifts back into human form and scowls back at Reelshka. Don't scowl at me. I'm not the one making assumptions. I've been away, fighting the good fight. she walks toward the Infirmary.

[Zefir]

[Main Room] -> [Infirmary]

Since Andy seem to miss everyone here he heads back to the infirmary to look after his patient.

Pathfinder's Hut

Waterstrider slowly wakes, feeling woozy, groggy, and like a fog covers everything. When his eyes open all the way, he sees Renetta in front of him and can't help but wrap an arm around her, giving a groggy growl of greeting.

[Pathfinder's Hut]

A hug. That wakes Renetta up quickly. She blinks a few times, trying to remember where she is. "Waterstrider! Is it really you now?" She wraps her arms around him, hugging him tight.

And that wakes up Lily too. A little. Enough to hug the two grownups sleepily.

The Wolfen grumbles a yes tiredly in his language, his head pounding. He pushes his forehead against her torso with a whimper, feeling a dull throbbing pain and just wanting the bright lights and sounds to stop.

Renetta will keep holding him and talks at a frantic pace. "I was so scared. I thought I'd lost you. I'm so glad you're okay." She goes on like this for a while, squeezing him tight.
