Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
Files are brain cells. BMO was in a box gettin' high.
Probably since we've known BMO. Who has trouble with English for no reason, is schizoid, and somewhat swingy in personality.
What's to stop her? Nothing. He'll probably continue.

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
Aw guys I just read the Adventure Time Graphic Novel: Playing with fire.
I loved it. It was hammy, not really funny and on the nose with many of the subtleties of the characters. But it tickled the part of me that likes reading fanfiction.
So yeah. Playing with fire: Its like reading a good (In the sense that it gives you lovey dovey crap that the real writers are too smart to be blunt about) fanfic.

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
S/he probably will never stop. I mean, in the three or so years that Finn and Jake have known the little guy, this is the only time the file-deleting has been a big issue.
Then again, Beemo alway's has been a little weird, so there's alway's the chance that s/he's been doing this and the gang just didn't notice.
It might show up again next season, as a major plot point for a episode.
So it's like a romantic comady fanfic that's on print? Huh, I like it already. Probably going to buy it.
On another note, the season ender is tomorrow, and it sound's interesting.SpoilerSeem's that it might be the same witch that stole that goblin king with the painfully untypeble name's eyes. Considering that Marci's tracking her down, anyone want to bet that also the same one that got Hambo?

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
SpoilerAs an alternative guess... Marceline's mom? We know she's a half demon, but what's the other half? I'm not sure if a witch in Ooo has the ability to live for thousands of years, but you never know. It's just the way she said something like, "I just really need to find her." Could be anything though.Last edited by hobbitkniver; 2013-07-28 at 02:50 PM.

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
So, interesting episode, if not one that makes me especially happy with the way it turned out.
So, let me just send the general alert:Watch Bee and Puppycat now. It's pretty much on the same radar-level as Bravest Warriors, but it's still worth watching.

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
Well for me....This was the VERY first episode of Adventure time I didn't like at all.
Marceline just acted weird, even stupid about hambo. I don't think shes that kind of person.
The episode just felt choppy. I didn't get what kind of episode it was.
Was it a adventuring episode? Not really.
Sentimental? Not really either.
The Princesses connection too her shirt just also felt ballooned up.
In general everybody felt Flanderized.
Also PBs attachment to her shirt is stronger then Marcelines attachment too Hambo?
Um.....Ok I guess. So is that a pretty much confirmation that PB Loves Marceline or something?

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
Bubblegum lost one of her favorite items.
Also, I hope the Sky Witch returns. She seems to have potential as a great villain. Also, the shirt could prove to be a powerful weapon for her.

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
This, so much this. Even the animation of Marceline seemed badly done in comparison to her previous appearances. Somehow I have a feeling that another episode will retcon that as something other than the reality of Ooo. Until then, I will pretend that this episode never happened (well, not really - but I will most definitely not remind myself actively of such a bad episode).

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
odd I liked the episode and people seemed completely plausible to me.
Remember though that we never get to see these two interact without Finn present and this is just how they are with each other.

I felt like that was just a way to show off a future villian without involving the two series leads.
Also, was Cinnamon Bun immune to the gas because he doesn't have a mind?Don't know your name but bring the pain.

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
I think PB was a bit of a donk for a lot of this episode, but otherwise I liked it well enough. Some obvious ship teasing, of course.

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
Yeah, I think that's what it was. They were just looking for an excuse to get rid of F&J for the episode while spending the least amount of time doing it.
The thing that I really don't get is why that shirt was worth more sentimental value than Hambo. Even if the shirt contains "true love" (which we honestly have no reason to believe it does besides fan faction), would that really be more than Marceline's childhood memory and the only item she has to remind her of Simon from before he lost his mind?
I still don't even believe there is any love between PB and Marceline. They're barely friends and you could argue that a relationship was hinted, but that doesn't mean they're still in love after the relationship ended.
The idea of a kids show doing anything regarding same sex relationships is unlikely anyway. If you need proof of this, take a look at this video of a couple of two women with children that is entirely normal, but was banned.Last edited by hobbitkniver; 2013-07-30 at 03:18 PM.

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
Nope. The Witch Clearly stated that it blew the power levels of Hambo out of the water.
Not only is Hambo Marceline's momento of a past father figure which she loves (And Loved Her), she had it for a THOUSAND YEARS.
Also I love Linkaras thing about true love:
If you're willing to part with something permanently in exchange for another thing, its likely that the first thing wasn't all that significant in the first place.
Marceline wen't berserk after she lost Hambo and was willing too track down a Witch too the point of acting stupid and going into obvious traps.
When PB lost her shirt it was more "Aw man!".
And I just can't buy Marceline and PB as a couple. Just something doesn't sit right with me about them.
Something about PB sniffing her shirt (Whaah?) made it just creepy.
Is PB obsessed or something?

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
Thats correct. AT has a much smarter surreal comedy.
So yeah. The first dud in five seasons. Thats not bad.
I just PRAY that this isn't the shark jumping episode where everything after this goes too crap as the creators run out of ideas.
PLEASE don't end on a low note AT. I love you too much too remember you as "The show that I thought was the best thing ever before it wen't bad".

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
Pretty much.
On another, more episode-related note, two things:
1. The backround artists didn't slack on this episode, at least. The forest was pretty neat looking and there's enough weird thing's in that house that could be picked around and stuff. There's a picture of the ghost girl from the murder mystery episode, so there's another sign that she's going to be pretty important if anything, because AV normally doesn't do forshadowing this much. There's also a few pictures on the wall in the central room, one of which seemed to be (ie: a seemingly not pale green) Maja along with two others, which, along with the rest of the house, probably mean's something.
2. Did I say how much I liked Maja, especially how much of the episode wasn't that good? There's pretty much no doubt she's going to be back in another episode, considering what she said in the last minute or so, but she seem's a bit like how the Ice King was in the first two seasons but without much of the quirkiness. She even has a little sympathetic black bird minion!
Also, that evil laugh.
Spoiler
Oh wait a third thing; Bubblegum made funny faces; presented here with captons

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
So more Marceline and Princess Bubblegum, rather than actually have more Fire Princess or Lady R. Because what I want is to watch two secondary character's relationships when the mains are right there to be developed.
On the other hand I loved the Crabbit. All of its forms were cool, the attempt to name it moments were funny, and I liked its personality. If we get to keep the Crabbit then I can forgive the rest of the episode.

Re: Adventure Time II: Everybody Knows Your Name
I don't think there was even any relations between the two. Although it seems to be accepted as fact now, it was hinted at best.
