Demon Queen walks in. She appears to be looking for somebody. Then she sees Shrike. She gives a small wave and walks over to the other Exalted.

Hi, Shrike. You got a minute? I kinda have a situation you might be able to help with.

Shrike looks over in surprise, then nods to the Abyssal Exalted, motioning for her to go ahead!

Alright, well...there's a woman here who is a murderer. I need to find her. She's pregnant, though. Which means I need to keep her somewhere until after she has the child, because I refuse to kill her before hand.

Wait, what? Julie goes into full panic mode as Demon Queen blurts out she's looking for a pregnant killer. After all, how many pregnant people that have recently killed a pair of Magclones could there be in the campground?

Every muscle in her body tenses visibly, and the succubus has a hard time not lashing out psionically as she leans back in her chair, staring into the fire rather than looking over at the Abyssal Exalted. As soon as her mind stops racing, Julie prepares herself mentally, just in case she needs to quickly teleport out of reach if Demon Queen spots her and moves to attack.

Damnit damnit damnit damnit damnit!!! If I get out of here alive, Magtok is going to die a billion times before I'm through with him. He has the gall to send assassins after me when I'm pregnant?!

"...I see. Why not just start from the beginning there again?" Shrike asks, raising an eyebrow and noticing the holes in the story!

...then frowns as she notices Julie's tenseness, too!

Demon Queen nods a little. Fine. Bit of a story, though.

You know how I have the urge to kill? Being an Abyssal now? I figured a good way to channel that was sort of vigilante style. So, I find one woman holding another hostage. Obviously, I tell the hostage to come here for safety and fight the other woman. After the fight, I found out the one being held hostage is a murderer. So, I decide to come here and kind of make up for letting her go free. Then I find out she's pregnant. And, I'm sorry, but I cannot kill her if she's pregnant. I won't. So, I figure I should kind of detain her until after she's had the kid.

Well. That explains everything.

Well, that conversation suddenly took a turn for the worse. There's something that needs to be confirmed first, "Can you give us a description of the mark? maybe we can help you find her."

He stands and places a hand on Julie's shoulder, hoping he can make her calm down even a little.

Demon Queen nods to Eric, and proceeds to describe Alexandrian's character, Bethany, who is currently in the Infirmary. I myself do not remember what she looks like. But, it's easy to tell that it's not Julie.

Julie calms somewhat as the situation is described. A coincidence then. A frightening one, but just a coincidence.

When Eric offers to help, Julie scowls briefly, and goes to grasp his hand and squeeze it tightly, "I don't know if that's such a good idea. You two probably don't need any help from a pregnant lady and her man, right?" Damnit Eric, stop throwing yourself into danger or you'll give Julie a heart attack!

Demon Queen shrugs. I'm not gonna turn down any help. I mean, I don't expect you to help keep watch over her. But if you happen to spot her around before I can find her, that'd be good.

"...actually, this is one heck of a coincidence, but I think there might be a woman fitting that description currently in the Infirmary," Shrike says, slowly.

Demon Queen raises an eyebrow. Really? Huh...that's...convenient.

Like there's some greater force at work here!

So...would you be willing to help me? With keeping her somewhere?

that's the thing though; Eric wasn't throwing himself into the firing line. The look he gives Julie says something along the lines of 'see? not you.'

Rather than look back, Julie simply says what she's thinking to him, by thinking it to him.

Please don't frighten me like that. If there's even a chance of losing you then you should know how I'll react.

To Demon Queen and Shrike, she nods briefly, "I guess we should discuss options for a cabin and leave you two to your business then. Until we meet again?"

eric can't send mental messages to Julie anymore, unless she sets up some sort of connection, but he thinks, she wouldn't have been saying it right in front of you if you were the mark, julie. She would have just moved in to hurt you. Besides, Magtok isn't going to send an assassin after us. It's not his style.

Julie does keep a link open after her initial message, out of habit, The last time you said something 'Wasn't Magtok's style' you ended up shot Eric. I'll never let that happen to you again, no matter what it takes. At least everything else he's said makes sense. Still, this whole encounter has just proved to her what an illusion GLoG's safety really is. This woman just showed up to kidnap and slaughter a pregnant woman, and Shrike has hardly even batted an eye, all at the word of an admitted murderer.

If Julie had any better options, she'd turn away from this place and never look back. But she doesn't, so she'll just have to shake off the peace she'd been lulled into and get back on her guard. For all she knows all the things she's said to Sophie and Kate are just extra rope to hang her with once they tire of leading her on.

"Lets see which cabins are available, okay Eric? Maybe something by the lake."

{Main Cabin to Entrance}

"Hey, wait!"
Jamie hurries after the drone!

The drone reaches the entrance and begins flying in circles. bzzt! Distressed tone. The The Top Secret Cake Baking Factory, it is missing!

It flies back to Jamie. bzzt! Miss Lex will be most displeased you have lost her factory.

Eric sighs and tries to rub Julie's arm. He can guess where her anxiety is coming from, and he's glad for his emotional dissonance, Julie, relax. you heard what Shrike said; Chosen of the Unconquered Sun. That makes her a Solar Exalt, meaning she was confident she could handle it if things got ugly. They're the sort of people who fight gods.

And the other is an Abyssal. If she happened to come after us, for the same reasons she's going after this other woman, would you want to rely on Shrike to protect us, instead of just letting us die, or trying and failing? But fine, I'll admit you're right if you just take that excuse I threw at you and help me out of here, please? Julie really doesn't want to spend any more time near the apparently murderous Exalt. She'd rather be picking out dresses for Magtok, or literally be doing anything else, than be near that woman for even a moment longer.

Eric nods, "Come on, let's get you off your feet." we'll go back to the room for now, maybe get you to relax. How does a foot massage sound?

"Yes, lets do that. Just give me a second here." Julie walks over to the bulletin board to scan it for a list of occupied cabins, mentally thwapping herself for not doing that in the first place. Assuming she finds one, she'll pluck it down, intending to put it back once she's done with it.

"Goodbye Shrike, I hope to see you again."

That sounds lovely, yes. I haven't had a proper foot massage in years. She stoutly refuses to inform Eric about her back massage, since that would open up an entirely new line of questioning.

Eric, of course, will support Julie on the way back, his arm around her waist again. When they arrive, Eric will try to guide her down onto the bed so that he can get access to her feet, where he begins to give her a massage.

And by the way? Eric is amazing at massages. He's been giving them to his mom and sisters before coming to the nexus for his entire life, so he most certainly knows what he's doing.

Julie's Room

Rather than respond with words, Julie lets out throaty groan of pleasure as her toes curl. He does appear to be hitting all the right places, yes.

He'll find that, no matter how much pressure he applies, Julie's response is the same. Her much abused feet, having ferried her everywhere without a moments respite these past two months, are finally getting the attention they deserve.

After several minutes, Julie will muster up enough mental fortitude to respond, "I only wish I could make you feel this good in return..." It hasn't been a problem until recently, and Vidalia surely didn't seem to mind, but pregnancy has had Julie feeling distinctly... unsexy. It has only gotten worse as time moves on, and despite her dread of birthing, she's actually looking forward to regaining some of her old shape soon.

Eric Keeps massaging, of course, "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. Now quit making sexy sounds or I may end up moving away from the feet." His tone, of course, is teasing as he continues to work the succubus' footsies.

"Quiet you, I'll make whatever sounds I want. Besides, if you're this good with feet, I can't wait to see how well you do with calves..." Julie lets out another pleased groan to emphasize her point, rolling her head back on the pillow.

"Weren't we supposed to be doing something?" Julie's voice also holds a note of teasing. She's certainly not complaining about their current activities.

Eric grins, still dealing wit the feat, "Nothing more important than this, if neither of us can remember it,"

He'll work for a while yet on her feet before moving to her legs. Julie will notice that Eric is aroused, but isn't acting on it, instead working on making sure Julie is massaged and feeling good all over.

"No, I remember, I just can't be bothered while you have your hands all over me like that." Looking for a cabin can wait. Even discussing baby gear can wait. Right now, Julie has just a few, important things on her mind. Eric, his marvelous hands, and what she has to tell him.

"Eric, I met someone here I'd like to introduce you to later. A woman by the name of Vidalia, who has helped me through a rough time or two. It's a rather long story, but the short of it is... she's in a very open relationship right now, so I just wanted you to meet her, and see what you think." There, she's said what she'd been mulling over in her head all morning, and now she's ready for stuttered denials, or shocked anger, or pretty much any reaction.

Well now, that isn't something he was entirely expecting to hear. His hands falter in their massaging for a moment, before Eric continue, "Uh, alright. I can't make any promises, though," That was fair, right? He knew Julie was a succubus, obviously, so he doesn't entirely expect her to stick to just him, even though that's what she said at the beginning of the relationship. so, this comes as less of a shock and more of a surprise.

I'm Brinika! The tiny goblin responds, before glancing at the bush as well. Hi Keo! Come over here! She calls out to the other girl.

Keo is distracted by Brinka enough for the chipmunk to get away. She scurries over to where the other two are. "Hi Brinka!" She looks at Renetta. "Hi,m! I'm Keo,m! Who are you, m?"

"My name is Renetta." She repeats for Keo. "It's very nice to meet both of you." The elf folds her hands over her belly. It's reassuring to be reminded that there are other children here, and that means there are other parents here that she can talk to if need be.

"Jamie's going to be excited too. I'm not sure if she'll see them as playmates or herself as team mom, though." Quinn chuckles.

Reelshka's ears twitch. She's very headstrong, isn't she? All girls at her age want to be adults already, but she takes it a step futher.

Brinika peers at Renetta's belly. Are you going to have a baby like Jamie's mom? She asks.
