The Good League of Good is an organization devoted to the redemption of evildoers. All of our members are either good aligned or trying to become good.

OOC: All players are welcome to make a character to join GLoG. The PM requirement is only so we know who is around. We aren't running auditions or anything.

FAQ:

1. What's the point? Isn't there already a good aligned organization? Why didn't you just join HALO?
   
   OOC, we have nothing against HALO. (IC may be a different story.) However, we wanted an organization that only allows good-aligned members and focuses on the redemption of evildoers. If the real world can have multiple organizations for the purpose of doing good, we don't see why the forum can't hold more than one as well.
   
   
2. No seriously. Aren't you just a HALO clone?
   
   Not intentionally. We have our own purpose and our own mission, which overlaps somewhat with HALO's, but is not identical.
   
   
3. Why don't you let anyone post in the main thread without PMing first?
   
   OOC answer: Honestly, we tried it, and it was too chaotic to read.
   IC answer: You don't let strangers wander into your house at all hours, do you? We just want to know who is in our house.
   
   
4. Still, it seems awfully rude. You've offended a lot of people.
   
   We're sorry. We didn't mean to.
   
   
5. What's the point of the visitor's centre?
   
   We still want to play nicely with others! So we set up the visitor's centre thread to provide an IC access port.
   
   
6. Are you part of the Town? Or are you in an extra dimension?
   
   We didn't really know at first, but when AMEN contacted us, it seemed clear that we inhabited some sort of reality with AMEN and HALO. Which means we aren't Town. I think. (Really, we're making this up as we go along!)
   
   New answer: Everyone's a part of the town, but the rules are different here, Town laws do not apply. ACRONYM rules do. So respect the rules, and we will all get along just fine.
   
   
7. Will you be interacting with the other groups?
   
   Yes, but we haven't worked out the mechanics yet. We're officially at war with AMEN, but we don't want random fighting going on in our headquarters. So we might be setting up a war thread or a plot thread or something, but we don't know yet.
   
   As far as HALO goes, we have no formal ties with them, though there is some membership overlap, and we're currently in discussions. IC, some of us have formed a negative opinion of HALO. It doesn't mean we have a problem with you OOC. (Honestly, Turtle isn't the brightest crayon in the box, and she's very defensive about being a former evildoer.)
   
   We interact with other groups quite a lot, though the war with AMEN has come to an end.
   
   
8. GLoG is a pretty silly name, isn't it?
   
   Yes. Yes it is. One of our founding members used to belong to the Evil League of Evil (If you haven't heard of it, google 'Dr Horrible'), so when she turned good, it seemed reasonable to form the Good League of Good.

Some areas of the base are DNA locked and alignment locked so that only members with no evil intent can enter unescorted. These include the Security Room, the Armoury, the Detention Wing, and the Artifact Vault.

Artifact Vault - Set next to the Armory, this is where GLoG's major artifacts are stored. The door is DNA locked to members only.

The Brightheart
The Brightheart is a plain orb, set upon a stone plinth labeled 'The Brightheart'. Also on the plinth is a note that says:
'Do Not Remove. Ever. No, not even then. (But maybe then.)'
The Brightheart itself glows with inner light, and throws up a positive energy blanket of moderate strength (heals most surface wounds, and makes undead sick) a few meters in radius. Touching the Brightheart results in having a large amount of positive energy run through you (heals all wounds, and drives undead to near death). Inside the plinth itself is a gate to the Negative Energy realm, which draws off the excess positive energy from the Brightheart. Should the Brightheart be removed, and taken away from the base without the necessary preparations being made, two Very Bad Things^TM will happen.
A) The Brightheart's positive energy will not be siphoned off, and so it will be returned to full strength, throwing up a powerful positive energy blanket about a kilometer in radius, and killing anyone who touches it, living or no, through sheer positive energy overdose.
B) The gate to the Negative Energy realm will become unstable and tear, creating a giant Negative Energy rift in the middle of GLoG.

The portal between GLoG and HALO is still open, providing instantaneous transportation between the two organisations.
But anyone passing through it arrives outside the front door. If they've already been cleared (previously interacted with GLoG without hostilities), they can walk straight in without having to roleplay out knocking on the door and so on.

First time visitors, or people who have previously caused trouble have to wait for someone to undeadtime to decide whether they can enter the building (GLoG), or not.

The Shadow of Chelonie is sitting in Lex's cell, softly singing "Close to You".

She turns her head from his kiss, also seeming to tear up. How could you have let him make me evil? You knew how I've always wanted to be good. I did horrible things... She trails off, tears streaming down her face.

"I...I'm sorry, Alexis. I was too blinded by my love for him...
...
I never wanted to hurt you....I just wanted to...be with you." He cuddles Alexis in his seat. "I never wanted to be evil...
I wanted a friend." D'awww! Emotion from Falgorn!

Misaki is next to Quinn, looking up at her, confused as to why she is glaring.

I'll always be there for you Falgorn. She promises, cuddling up to him. They want to kill all of his spouses. You shouldn't be with him. Through her tears she doesn't seem to notice Quinn.

"I...I'm sorry, Alexis. I was too blinded by my love for him...

Hammering can be heard as Sunny cheerfully works on repairing the Gazebo.

Vlad has fallen into a stony silence. His arms are crossed, and he's looking away from the drone. His legs are still in their casts.

Corentin Apollinaire approaches Sunny as she works on the Gazebo. "Hi Sunny!"

[Falgorn]

"I'll go through death for Astir." He sighs, thinking this is likely. "I can't leave him. I'm sorry, Alexis." Falgorn decides to change the subject. "Who was the kid you were talking to the other night, in your cell?" He's referring to Alex.

[The Bushranger]

Quinn continues watching from her spot at the table, feeling relieved for Alexis, but upon hearing Falgorn's declaration, starting to rise...

But he's... She stops herself from saying how evil Astir is and sighs. That was Alex. He's pretty nice. I just wish I hadn't met him while I was...like I was... She trails off not quite sure how to say it.

Misaki is still looking at Quinn questioningly.

"Hi Corey." *bang bang bang* "I fix Zebo!"

Lex looks up at Shadow of Chelonie. So, what do you want today? Surely you know I can't leave him without at leasst tlaking to him first. I need to confront him, give him the chance to explain himself. It's what I'd do for Chelonie, and you should know it.

Vidalia is looking for Corentin. A Vanilla ice cream cone in her hand.

Corentin smiled. "Can Cory help?" A little physical activity would do him some good, not that he hadn't been active lately...

Vidalia would find Corentin near Sunny.

[Falgorn]

Falgorn gets the hint. "So much for being only mine.
Some things are just too good to be true." He's referring to Alex, obviously. "If you're happy with him, I won't stop you from seeing him." Wait, what? Where's that evil? Oh, I know...here. "What am I saying? Tell me, now, who was better, me or him?" He makes it obvious what he's talking about. But that phase quickly fades away. "If you really don't trust Astir.
...
If none of you trust Astir....
I'll..." He can't say those last words, but then he spits them out. "I'll renounce Astir."

James looks around, bored, and starts burning through the lock on his cell door.

Mage has stopped meditating. He's looking over at the gazebo.

Vlad looks around, and trys to chip away at his casts with his knife.
Angry statement: Sir! Stop please!

Quinn notices Misaki's look, and her face softens a little as she leans over to explain. That's...somebody who follows somebody evil. She used to but got better. He...shouldn't be here.


Alex exits his room and heads for the Training Room for a workout.

"I am Chelonie. The same Chelonie who promised you I wouldn't hurt Astir. And I haven't broken that promise."

[SeptAngel]

It's only because I was evil that I slept with Alex. I swear. She pleads before her jaw drops at registering what he just said. Y-you will renounce him?

[Falgorn]

His ears pick up Quinn's comment. He growls with anger, but focuses on the teenager. "Yes. I need to speak with him." He sighs as he leans in to get a good Om in on Alexis.

[Neon Knight]

Miskai nodded a bit, her eyes going wide as she looked at Falgorn.

[SeptAngel]

She wraps her arms around him tightly while kissing him back. Thank you. She whispers, out of breath from the kiss.

James finishes burning the lock off his cell and walks out.
...Hello? He asks. Then he shrugs. He walks towards the greatroom.

[Falgorn]

And Falgorn pursues, not letting the girl get any oxygen until he needs some. He tries to pick her up, slowly, not breaking the moment.

Excuse me a moment, sweetie.
Quinn smiles a little at Misaki, then stands and starts over torwards Falgorn and Alexis.
That'd be a very sweet sentiment, if it were true.

And she's back caught in the moment that is Falgorn. She's still a little weak from everything and is easily carried away not even paying attention to her surroundings. Until Quinn speaks up. The blushing teen breaks the kiss and looks over to Quinn. Of course it's true.
