Regarding my previous thing about the Eragon goats, can it be those goats? FYI, they're large, rideable mountain goats that can jump really far. Well, rideable by dwarves, at any rate.

Sounds interesting, possibly dangerous interesting like unusual glowing rocks. But in either case, it should give us more time.

Oh, as for region forty-three, I am so going to conquer those people. Ransom? No one pays ransoms... Certainly not regents who want the throne for themselves.
Anyone else who tries to get the place will likely feel get in the path of my vengeance. That, and I have some cool ideas for what I want to do with the place.
Also, please note that my original king was Hazael Toranath II. The current king is Hazael Toranath III. The first Hazael Toranath died well over a hundred years ago and his deeds are insignificant and form the most boring parts of most history textbooks.

Finally, what's the likelihood of rebellion in Kyaralath? Their import necessity is not met, I haven't spent an action pacifying them or a special action (which I can't perform anyway because of the regency) to ensure peace. The same extends to Hazaria, unless the Diplomacy Five special I used the late King Hazael II's stats for has lingering effects despite his death.

For the most part, the games, the ball, the world's fair, are a cover for treaties, intrigue, and negotiation anyway. But that doesn't mean they have to be.

Since I have been getting away with it, I suppose you could send someone unofficially. It just means you cannot make treaties or do anything that might correspond to an action. In essence, it is all fluff.

For several events now, I have had unofficial delegations. Actually, just one person at the last two. It is part of the narrative that I am weaving about the struggles between twin sisters. And since Evelyn is in Raaneka hiding, she will probably make an appearance.

You could send a proud warrior to do battle. If he does well, perhaps he gets named a General of your armies. Doesn't change a darn thing, but makes a nice back-story.

I did spend an action point on having my people go there, but I don't plan on making any other diplomacy actions. Someone can try and make one with me, but I'm not going out of my way to do anything.

My plan is less of a plan and more of a backup nation.

Namely an Island nation of Pirates, Raiders, and layabouts who do nothing but drink beer and sit around on their island.

Careful! That is where I started with the whole half naked drunken pirate/raider thing.

Hmm... It has some potential. But given the fact that we have few democratic states, I would reword it as: Of The People, By The People, For The King, or something along those lines.

OOooh. This has my vote, or the 'Emperor' bit later, too.

Currently, the only plans to use it as a campaign world are for side-adventures that are part of the game. Like how the Doomkhan, Shïnguard, Ashmar High Priest, Ex-Doge and Firelord Volcano King are going all Expendables this round (if any of them reply to my previous question of when they are available). Or the one I had talked with Silverbit about regarding something he thought of a few rounds ago, but there was too little time and not enough mechanical clarity yet for it.

I'm up for it... I'll be on Skype most of today.
