Something to remember about British heraldry though - the "kings of arms" who oversee it had their last pay change in the 1830s and it was a pay cut, which I think shows just how much their work is valued...
(The pay for the different officals varies, but ranges between £13.96 and £49.07 per year.)

I also prefer the dragons from D&D 3.5. The unique horns, frills and crowns, including the wings varied greatly between the colors.
My favorite was the black dragons, I really like the color and the curved forward horns.

Movies wise. The luck dragon in The Neverending Story reminded me more of the Chinese dragons.
Dragonheart Sean Connery had a nice dragon.
Liked the dragons in Reign of Fire
Hobbit Smaug was great! (more a drake, wings used for his front legs)
Plus the GoT dragons are very well done, especially the newer ones from House of the Dragon.

I love all types of dragons: Western dragons, Eastern dragons, Medieval dragons, dragons from fairy tales, dragons from movies, TV shows, books, and games. I even like D&D Dragons as especially D&D 3.5 Dragon Pantheon which has inspired me to write stories about dragons. The reason why I love dragons is because they are beautiful, intelligent, and powerful creatures. Dragons are very cool in my opinion.

And then you have Magic the Gathering, who has dragons (some may even argue true dragons, considering the characterization), drakes, wyverns (indistinguishable from drakes, called "vouivres" in french), a wyrm (taken from d&d), and wurms (called guivres in french), which are basically wyrms, in that they're limbless dragons.

Everybody loves dragons, because there are enough dragons to find one that you love.

Judging solely by the pictures you linked, it looks like the difference between wyrms and drakes is that wyrms have two legs and wings while drakes only have wings.
