Note: Please note that "Mouri" has a U in it. This is to avoid any confusion between my nickname, and the name of the family.
Spoiler
Oda: Capital of the Kingdom, Iron Wall defence technique is widely used.
Hara: Rangers and archers. Similar to Real-world England.
Iga: Ninjas, the spies and assassins of the royal family.
Tenshi: Monks and Battledancers, places heavy empasize on "vow of poverty" for it's warriors and leaders.
Ashikaga: Entertainment Capital, bards, jesters and other performers.
Akashi: Magical artificers, uses golems and "Nuhe" (warforged) as their primary weapons.
Tangshima: The only house with firearms, firearms are very rare in Tangshima and non-existence elsewhere, with the exception being Dame. With time this may change as production improves.
Mouri: Heavy focus on brute force. While the Oda use defence, and the Uesugi grace, the Mouri use Shock trooper.
Shimazu: The arcane capital. Wizards, sorcerers, and warlocks make their home here.
Tokugawa: A heavy focus on dragons. Ruled by "Nova Ryu" the dragon princess. Is considered neutral ground for the "Great game". It is illegal in the game to make conflict in Tokugawa land.
Asakura: A place for the mundane. A heavy focus on craftsmanship and "mastery" of professions, crafts, and knowledge. Focuses on removing the dependence on magic via inventions like the aquaduct.
Miko: Spiritual leaders and purifiers of the spirit.
Uesugi: Grace, focus, and disciple, the place for duelists, swashbucklers, and those who use the royal rapier.
Imagawa: Heavy on druids, very in tune with the natural side of things.
Takeda: Cavalry charge. End of story.
Hojo: Warrior clerics and Paladins who works to fight against the forces of evil.
Dame: Jack of all trades. Has no strength, but no weakness.

In character will be posted when I have typed out the basic premise. Please discuss what you wish for now.
I currently need starting points/backgrounds from Tantaburs and Reader. If you do not provide one, I will make one for you.
My alterant wished that he could be the heoric knight who fights evil and gets the princess and becomes the ruler. In attempting to integrate that with his real nature, the magic produced what we see here.
Danil Drome is the son of minor nobility near the city of Porkus. Though no slouch in combat, he displayed from a very young age an incredible mind and a gift for philosophy and magic. After learning the basics of combat, divine magic, and arcane magic, he left to seek his fortune. He is at present in the city looking for quests or wars to sign on with. If those fail, he will see if the army is hiring for regular duty (good way to make a living and pick up skills.)
[OOC] I'm expecting there to be some level of plot hook, if only to get us moving. [OOC]

1. At which point do we start? Just after waking up in different world?
2. I am assuming we know next to nothing about our lives in 'fantasy world', we are mercenaries, but don't know our previous deeds etc. Now if I am correct, would my psicrystal be a viable source of information, or would he be as confused as me?

1. You go to bed in the real world, and wake up in the fantasy world.
2. That is correct, you know nothing about the world at large personally, but the psicrystal would know the information as it is a separate being with it's own mind.
Updated character sheet with a wish in the statblock.
If i could be anything in the world it would be the CEO of a fortune 500 company so I would assume it would make me a merchant in the fantasy world.
Hmm you know I was expecting a bit more correlation between the builds and the wishes....like the merchant would be a rogue with the profession skill or something...hmmm oh well..

I thought I did a pretty good job...
EDIT: Also, I notice that all our current party members are male, so any romance is going to have to come from Morithias. Hopefully her ladies are nicer when it's consensual.

Ask my old D&D group, my settings tend to be very heavy on the female population. I once ran a campaign that was about trying to pick up a date for the harvest festival.
In character will be posted shortly.

I described parts of the flat where Lucas woke up, if it is a problem I would just spoiler/cross out the description...
Ah, Lucas would be speaking in green ... otherwise there would be to much blue around
Seemed fine to me.
If you ever have a problem with a plot point or don't like something I've said, feel free to tell me. I'm willing to change minor details. Just don't go asking me to retcon rolls and such. (I might do it if it REALLY hurt the drama factor of the campaign, cause I see D&D as a storytelling medium, helped by the fact that play by post is very roleplay heavy).
I decided to steal and reuse a map from a videogame rather than use the world map from Evil Genius. A D&D world the size of the real world planet would quickly become too large and complex to maintain a sandbox campaign in.
The names have no meaning, they are stolen from the videogame as well.
I know it's from an um....um...source that is not socially acceptable, but it's one of the best maps I've seen. It's clear, easy to read, marked really well, and it's a decent size, and it's zoomed in at a rate where it's not labelled with a ton of stuff that crowds it, or is so zoomed out that there's no labels at all.
I admit I probably could've renamed a House or two, but seriously its 8 am and I haven't slept in 2 days...I...yeah...I'm about to collapse..I need coffee...I couldn't sleep cause a spider the size of my thumb scared me.
I've made a Pathfinder version of character sheet. It is the same, except for skills, it felt strange to use pathfinder skill distribution for 3.5D&D skills.
I chose class skills based on psion-telepath from pathfinder SRD. (As Erudite with favored discipline- telepathy this is probably the closest one)
If you prefer the 3.5 sheet, I will use that one, just thought it would be less confusing this way.

Note: I think I'd like Danil to be from House Shimazu territory. OK?

You are free to use whichever one is more to your taste. Just don't go changing major things that you've used before. Since we haven't had a single roll yet, I'm going to go easier on minor stuff like this for now.
But then you won't be able to meet up with the rest of the group?
Oops. He was supposed to have come from a different part of the kingdom, but if that won't work it's fine.
