I think i'm going insane, for some reason unbeknownst to me I filled a jug with cold water, stood in the bath completely clothed but bare foot and poor the cold water on a sponge.:smallconfused:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I want to meet him. You should have taken a picture to commemorate the amazingness of your day.
You are now number one on my Envy - O - Meter, successfully knocking Jibbers off his long - held top spot.
What was he like?
E Lang was fun today. We had a lesson about swearing. We talked about the 's' word, the 'f' word and the bad 'c' word. Not to mention the 'n' word and pretty much all of the common curses.
That's why you take E Lang and Lit separately.
And everything else yeah, but that is such a fantastic way to end a school day on a Friday.
I did take a picture, its quite funny he looks really bemused at me but apparently i was the first to make him laugh that day so I am most pleased with myself!!!
It was also really good because i am a regular at the shop i got to spend more time with him than the other shallow punters who were only there because he was teeheeheeeheee!!!
But yes that was my news for the week/month/year!

For the Love of Pratchett-Lovers, you belong in the YOU thread right now.

Oh well, at least I've read The Hitchhiker's Guide. :smallconfused:

Re: Aziraphales Actually Alliterative And Awesomely Affluent Random Banter #104
Was the bath filled with water, Origano? Also, what exactly did you do with the sponge once it was soaked?

Re: Aziraphales Actually Alliterative And Awesomely Affluent Random Banter #104
Someone gouge my eyes out. Please.
I just saw the most hideous creation that ever saw the light of day.
A mauve-coloured Hummer H3 just drove past my house. MAUVE! Why?! :smalleek:
Don't get me wrong, mauve can look good, especially on certain forum members here, but NOT on a flipping Hummer! What on Earth was the designer thinking when they painted it?

Well, I'm imagining it was something like this:
"Hey, let's go out for some drinks, eh, guys?"
"Whoa, Jimmy, that's a lot of vodka"
"W00t! VODKA!"
"I love you guys, y'know that, riiiightsch?"
"Nah, you talkin' to me? YOU TALKIN' TO ME?!"
"I'm fiiiine. You guys are so nice."
"You know what'd be the best idea, like ever?"
"Schno, Schno, scheriouschly!"
"A MAUVE HUMMER!"
"Totally, eh? Just sign this napkin."

Except this is Arabia. Alcohol is haram. Of course, that doesn't mean that Arabs don't drink... It's just, that that's not likely, or something. :smallconfused:

And, alternatively, maybe the owner of the car repainted after buying it? While drunk and/or stoned?

Nope, bath was empty and after I poured the water on the sponge I just stepped out and went about business as usual, although some of the water ran under my feet and it was freezing. That's why it's so strange.

Re: Aziraphales Actually Alliterative And Awesomely Affluent Random Banter #104
It does sound like an odd thing to do. (I guess it's a good job you didn't tip it over your head if it was that cold.:smalltongue:)

Argh, my head. Went to a party last night. Regretting it.
THUMP THUMP, THUMP THUMP.

Especially as I have a ridiculous amount of work I should be doing...
Maths Assignment, Physics Project, Drama notes, Computing coursework...
And to top it all, bloody UCAS... University application... Computer Science... possibly Newcastle, if I can get the grades I need. Or Nottingham. Personal statement's done (exactly 47 lines, up to the limit :D), but I need to fill in qualifications, and can't find the papers...

Re: Aziraphales Actually Alliterative And Awesomely Affluent Random Banter #104
Ugh. Went to school open day for a mock Ancient Greek and Classical Civilisation lesson for the new folks to see what life's like.
Accepted doughnut with sugar frosting and copious amounts of sprinkles as my reward.
Hadn't eaten breakfast, and rarely eat such sugary foods.
Aaaaagh/Uuuuugh! :smallyuk: I can't quite bring myself to vomit it up so I'm sitting here all sickly and stuff.

Re: Aziraphales Actually Alliterative And Awesomely Affluent Random Banter #104
That sounds bad.:smallfrown: Has this happened before when you've eaten sugary food?

Drink lots of fluids and take some heavy-duty pain-killers. Caffine might help.

I'd understand that a lot more if I didn't have a bunch of boxes around the next-to-last line and a few others :smallfrown:
We've just about finished with gradients, (del)f=fx(x0,y0)i + fy(x0, y0), etc.
Next we go towards double integration!!

Yeah, same here. I've got one whole medieval poster to design for E Lang and write a commentary on it; five pieces of French homework all in for Monday; research for my E Lang coursework (I got to pick a topic i.e. horse riding and suchlike and research it. That being two texts minimum at least sixty years aprt) by some time in a fortnight; practice an ELAT paper; do something I've can't remember what for medieval history; reread Antigone; research daimons and moira, whatever that is; and start my Latin, Old English and Old Norse and Japanese lessons in all serious now.
Most of it by Monday; the rest (bar the foreign language lessons) by Tuesday.
And I've got to go and do something on UCAS that I forgot to do yesterday. Got to add my pending A Levels.
And seeing as I'm starting Youth Theatre tomorrow, I'll have to do it all either today or Sunday evening.

Re: Aziraphales Actually Alliterative And Awesomely Affluent Random Banter #104
Problem: Our power just went out
Background: Jibar has an apocolypse scenario for ever letter of the alphabet. Most of these start with the power going out, shortly followed by a major disaster.
Problem 2: Could be a serial killer.
Solution: Power comes back. Jibar stops being crazy hopefully.
Seriously, 5 minutes without electricity and I'm pacing like a nutcase, imagining all the worst case scenarios. :smallsigh:
I need professional help...
-
Re: Aziraphales Actually Alliterative And Awesomely Affluent Random Banter #104
Eh, we probably all need professional help Jibbler. No need to worry about it. I've often heard noises at night and wondered if it's someone in the house. Especially if Andre was working nights or out doing something.
You'd think I hadn't lived by myself ever by knowing that. :smalltongue:
-
Re: Aziraphales Actually Alliterative And Awesomely Affluent Random Banter #104
If I hear a noise(not an obvious noise like the door closing) downstairs when nobody else is in I go straight for a weapon, usually a metal pole and slowly descend the stairs ready to beat someone half to death, I dread the day someone's actually downstairs, hopefully it'll never happen though.

Nah, there's a simple solution. Get some money, then buy a flashlight, a generator, and a katana.
-
Re: Aziraphales Actually Alliterative And Awesomely Affluent Random Banter #104
Pfft, Katana's are no good, just get a normal sword or a Zweihander, I want a Zweihander but my parents won't let me have one.
-
Re: Aziraphales Actually Alliterative And Awesomely Affluent Random Banter #104
I have solved the problems of worrying about stragners breaking in for myself by installing an alligator filled moat, mine field, deadfall traps and a portcullis. :smallyuk:

A katana IS a normal sword.
Personally, I rather like its hand-and-a-half-ness and curved blade. They do tend to be a bit too tip-heavy for my taste, though.
