I just made a $20 phone call. For some reason, foreign calls aren't cheap when you're abroad. Also, a lot of time is put into repeating things because the panatlantic phone line adds a lot of distortion, and that repetition means even more money...

On the positive side, though: My bag has been found, I'll get my stuff back!

That's great news. At least it means that it wasn't lifted by some guy who decided to grab the contents for himself.
