If we distract them from their purpose needless conflict may arise, and while I am sure we'd have no difficulties against them, they can call in reinforcements that could be quite fatal to us." Honor considered approaching the drones to seek intelligence, but he knew himself well enough that his internal quandaries may set these axiomatic creatures off just as easily as Aanash' tomfoolery.
