Big Red
Last night, you insulted the honor of the Empress, the ancient red dragon Rendrassoa, at a great feast hosted by her grandson, Crimson. Today, you face Crimson in the arena, even though he is 80 years old. Ten thousand people are watching, including the dragon herself. Acquit yourself well, or be shamed and exiled!
The arena is 50' x 50', with a sandy floor. The domed roof, a metal grid, arcs to about 30' overhead. The walls are transparent forcefields, protecting the screaming crowd from even the most potent of evocations.
Crimson stands before you, a slightly hunched Dragonborn. Although his skin is wrinkled, his shoulders are still broad, and his hide is tough. He wears bracers, an ornate helm, and carries a greataxe whose blade ripples with flame.
