Kroft clenches her hands into fists, and its clear she very much would like to know who is responsible for inflaming this latest round of hysteria and rage. Unfortunately, that’s also a problem for another time, *after* the angry mob has been – non-lethally – dealt with.

To that end, you head out of the citadel after the meeting breaks up to do some shopping. While it takes you a bit of time to find all of the necessary ingredients, Korvosa’s various markets are still open. You manage to find what you will need to magically imbue and combine to create a truly impressive stench that will choke and gag the assailing mob of angry citizens, but shouldn’t kill any of them no matter how much of the noxious fumes they actually breathe in. Finding a delivery method for the stench takes a bit more of your precious remaining time, but as a city with a working sewer system and docks with ships coming in from all over the world, it doesn’t take that much effort to eventually locate a rat you are able to coax out of hiding with a bit of cheese. It’ll be a bit risky sending the rodent out into the packed crowds, but even if the poor creature is inadvertently trampled to death its passing will be one with more meaning and purpose than the usual struggle for simple survival. And, so long as you don’t direct it into the densest portions of the mob to come, it should be well practiced enough at dodging footfalls to evade the panicked stomp thrown its way now and again before its attacker succumbs to the fumes it’ll be emitting.

With both the means and delivery method now secure, you hurry back to the citadel as the sun begins to dip below the horizon. It was going to be another long night in Korvosa.
Jeqem smirks but it looks cruel as he walks out the roomIts perfectly safe if uncomfortable for the idiots who try anything as he leaves he goes to the market questioning animals if they've seen anything weird along the way.
