Re: KuReshtin's Kallously Konfusing Konsternations - Random Banter #208
You can keep hitting me but like a phoenix I'll always rise from the ashes! (Just had to double check we did win the last one)
@Chaotic
Hello! As my name suggests just a friendly Reaper!
@KuReshtin, I recall playing some inter school sports where the "B" grade team in the lower leagues always were much happier since they never got so soundly thrashed unlike those in the "A" grade team. Pity that the forfeiting team is being so absent.
Hey Emerald! Been hiding in work, but catching up on a lot of the OOTS comic, thought I'd drop by say hello! Also been looking at travelling and the forum has a lot of people that know the good places to go. Even met the Serps in travel (but I think now everyone has) How have you been? Having a blooming good time I hope & that AE hasn't been too much a thorn in your side?

This I ask. Since Dalladium Da-côte-de is graduated with presumably free time, and Our Friend has returned, how awesome shall blossom their bromance once again?

Re: KuReshtin's Kallously Konfusing Konsternations - Random Banter #208
Traveling is good! Andre and I haven't been able to do much, what with all the kids and no money, but that's just how it is. Someday I too shall meet the lovely Serpentine. Been ok, back in school again (yeah, I don't know why, seemed like a good idea at the time), working, and the usual. AE mostly just takes all his aggression out on Hippie, but that's ok...Hippie responds in kind.

Re: KuReshtin's Kallously Konfusing Konsternations - Random Banter #208
It's a rite of passage I reckon meeting Serp! Kids and money do tend to not play to nice. Only recently did I realize that all my parents stories of travelling was before the siblings and myself arrived
And schools always good, although being able to balance with work is the hard bit!

Mmm... crumms. I should like a crumbly slice of D square with a cup of coffee beneath a parasol of a hot afternoon.
A Great Old One of the Forum popping into banter always draws other Great Old Ones to visit also. How do they know?! And more importantly, what powers may I derive by channeling this advent?

Now I feel left out...
ION: I think I'm out of my funk. 78 days until the wedding...this is really amaza-scary-awesom-strange. October still seems so far away, but 78 days seems like REALLY close. I hope everything is ready by then. Because we totally aren't at the moment.

Deathy?!
I never actually met you.
But I recognize you.
Nice to meet you.
Ancient Playgrounders from before the dawn of time.
Waaaay after he disappeared.
Not particularly. Yes, people visit Serps a lot, but they will almost think you are a human being if you don't. Almost.

Re: KuReshtin's Kallously Konfusing Konsternations - Random Banter #208
I don't know about bromancing...It was mainly me admiring from afar, occasionally daring to devilishly dabble in his deathly domain of punnery.
COOKIES?!?!? ME WANT COOKIES!!!
I'm better off not sliced, but consumed whole. Though while rebuilding the backyard terrace I did think of bottling my sweat and possibly selling it, for it drippped so much it formed small puddles.
Don't worry, I haven't met Serps...yet...either. And some consider me a old one. I don't feel like one compared to Rawhide, Death and other venerable characters.....but I have been on these boards for a good 8 years now...(starting out as a lurker, ofcourse.)
Either way, I just got a box of wine delivered, containing six bottles of fine white. I've still got a jerrycan of old berry mead containing a lusty nine litres.... I think I am ready for the weekend which I so readily deserve.(Perrywinkles, my dear old chap, I do not have that much free time as I am working a decent amount so I can afford to keep on feasting.)

Re: KuReshtin's Kallously Konfusing Konsternations - Random Banter #208
Basically, a pair of years ago, Serps did just what I'm doing now: a trip around the world to meet up with playgrounders, and that produced a lot of pictures with those playgrounders standing next to Serps as she was some sort of famous landmark.
Sadly, I haven't been very good at requesting group photos myself, and especially not including myself, so I guess I'll be a bit more elusive in that regard...
ION:
I had a pretty interesting dream last night. I dreamed me and a few friends were going with a space shuttle, which was really cool. For some reason, though, the shuttle wouldn't deliver enough thrust at lift-off, so we were left just skimming the ground, with quite graphical scenes of our pilot just narrowly dodging the pines littering the landscape. I was dead sure we were going to crash, but she made it.
Naturally, we had to abort, so I went back to playing Civ IV at the base. Then the shuttle seemed ready again, and my friends popped in to ask me "Are you coming with us?". Assuming there'd be some official announcement through the speakers calling all astronauts, I just responded "Hang on a second..." and kept playing Civ.
But no announcement came, and I started to worry about the shuttle already having left. I started looking for my friends, and found them nowhere, and even though I never saw any launch nor the debris of any such, the fireworks which suddenly appeared didn't really appease my mind. And then my dream ended.
It's a shame, really. It would've been fun to go on the shuttle once more and actually blast into space this time. I was actually fairly miffed about it even for a while after waking up...Clouddreamer Teddy by me, high above the world, far beyond its matters...

Re: KuReshtin's Kallously Konfusing Konsternations - Random Banter #208
Awesome. Come up here, you could add me, Andre, Goof, Trog, Tink, Zergling (if he's still around), and at least 4 or 5 others off the top of my head...though I can't recall the Playground names of them all.
Unless of course, you've already gotten some of those, and then you can at least just add me and Andre.

Today I bought some everclear at what I can only describe as one of the sketchier liquor stores that I've seen in New England. Now I am making absinthe with this stuff. Fun times await me.

Re: KuReshtin's Kallously Konfusing Konsternations - Random Banter #208
Potentially, I wouldn't be surprised. You can never fully vouch on the virgin status of those oils.
Ah well I wish you quite well with your learning! Sounds like things are going fairly well.
Hmm I have no clue how this can just happen HT, but it sounds like just running with an idea works well. Was this a good cry or a bad cry?
Oh no an Asta may disappear...crossing fingers with hope for your monitor issues.
That's something else there Teddy. Ah those dreams, hard to imagine them stranger. Sorry you could not ride the shuttle again Teddibur. But Civ sounds enjoyable too.
Hmm I've heard absinthe is...strange. Care to tell me more of this elixir?
Also hello there Friendly Reaper that I have not met! Welcome back to the banter, for however much time you choose to spend here.

Re: KuReshtin's Kallously Konfusing Konsternations - Random Banter #208
i don't believe so, however once i was watching a cooking show, and they were making something (i think it was Italian) that translated to something like 'prostitute sauce' and all i heard was "and the first ingredient for 'prostitute ((whatever))' is extra virgin olive oil"
for some reason i couldn't stop laughing at thatLast edited by Somensjev; 2014-07-18 at 12:29 PM.

I haven't seen very many puns recently.
I use braces (also known as "curly brackets") to indicate sarcasm. If there are none present, I probably believe what I am saying; should it turn out to be inaccurate trivia, please tell me rather than trying to play along with an apparent joke I don't know I'm making.
