Language teaching videos :) My channel is far from popular, but with time I have managed scrape together half a thousand subscribers.

With "more stuff" you mean to make more videos and publish them on my channel? I intend to do that next week :) I'm writing a new script. I just have to think of useful words that are hard to pronounce...

You should do a video series of 'Fun with Flags'.

Sounds interesting, please tell me more! Fun with Flags... in what way? Maybe I'm missing some inside joke here? :)
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to say in those videos, but I can think of something.

Ah, I see.. Not a fan of Big Bang Theory, then?
    Pity.. Would have been good.

    Edit:
Fun fact about flags.. There is only one country whose flag isn't either square or rectangular. Do you know which country that is?
Also, there are only two countries whose flags does NOT include either of the colours Red, White or Blue. Can you name the two countries?

Yay! I loathe with the boiling hatred of the hells and the Devil himself dislike TBBT because it's basically saying all the things that got me picked on in school are now funny (liking video games, etc, being nerdy, not socialising well) and trendy, except I don't get any of the benefits. Despite it all being somehow suddenly "hip", I'm still treated like an outcast for the very things that TBBT has apparently made trendy. Also I blame it for the massive (negative) changes in gaming over the past 7 or so years.

Oh and anyone who compares me to Sheldon should probably have their Last Will & Testament written. No reason...

A sidenote: I only watch Game of Thrones and I watched Spartacus. Other than that, I don't watch any TV series and I don't get references to popular culture when they're TV related. I own a TV for the sole purpose of watching football.

Probably positive. I watch nearly no TV outside of the news these days. Shows like Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men and modern Simpsons are contributing factors.

It is a positive attribute, in my opinion. There ARE still some good shows on TV though.

There is one, and for all her awkwardness she's probably the most human character on the show, since she tries to work past her problems, but sometimes just indulges. Though she's a little creepy. I'd never compare any of my friends to any of the characters on the show though. Even at their worst, I've never seen a real human being as deplorable as Sheldon is.

You should quit TV, if you're primarily just watching it for the news. TV news is terribly unreliable compared to where it can be found in other media.

On the rare occasion it's mentioned, I've always been compared to Sheldon because "he's a nerd and you're a nerd", probably because he's the main character so it's easier to reference. And every time I'm compared or likened to him, I feel like I want to incinerate everything within a kilometre of where I am.

Basically comparing me to anything to do with Big Bang Theory is like saying "Hey Skep, **** you".

It's good for a "how stupid and biased are these morons?" laugh. Plus I only usually have a newspaper handy if I'm having lunch at the McDonalds near work.
Plus I can't quit it entirely, sometimes Regular Show is on (I only have free-to-air channels). Also the TV in my room doesn't actually have an aerial connection, I only use it for my XBox 360 and Wii U.

Fair enough, though I was actually suggesting internet news. It takes more looking around, but cross-referencing is easier.

And yay, McDonald's. I put in my two weeks notice yesterday, can't wait to be done. I wasn't even working there enough to make "reasonable" pay. Unpaid internship takes most of my time. Granted, the internship is going really well and I'm making great connections, but gas isn't cheap.

Given, that depends entirely on the news network. Swedish television, for one, is more reliable than our top two online newspapers (based on the fact that those are the webpages of tabloids, they were just the first to get online and doing it well)...

American TV, though, is the exact opposite. With newspapers and magazines IN AMERICA, you can always find an unbiased account of events. The networks, though ... there is NO middle ground. I'll leave it at that before I get into forum-unsafe topics.

I'd disagree with that wholeheartedly, sir. Newspapers, radio, TV, internet - they're all bad. The internet's only decent because it's easy to check sources and cross-reference things. None of it's consistently any good.

About all the news - no matter what the source - is good for is a quick cynical laugh or a bit of masochistic indulgence in misanthropy. Useful and accurate information is few and far between.

My reasoning for not watching much TV is actually summed up pretty well in paragraph three of the commentary on this comic (referring to panels 1 through 4).

Basically, any location that has recently declared itself a country might or might not actually be one, depending on who you ask.
I challenge you to submit a complete list of all countries currently in existence. Should be easy enough to find, right?

So... in other words, the definition I presented actually did remove the ambiguity, as it requires a vast majority of other countries to recognise it?
