I would really like to see a game made by Obryn, Kurald Galain, and Knaight from these forums.

I'm not joking one bit. I would buy the hell out of that.

Well, May is kind of the apex of the "no weekends but I desperately need them" problem, but I also take about a month to acclimate to Daylight Savings time each year earlier in the spring and get my sleep patterns back on track (I struggle with consistent sleep patterns generally, with my natural "clock" wanting to drift later and later each night, and shifting the clock earlier by an hour does not make it easier), so pretty much all of spring ends up being an exhausting blur. I don't really know if I'd enjoy the season if not for those externalities, but as it is it's pretty awful.

I guess winter and summer are my favorites, although the past few summers here have been exceptionally hot by local standards and I have not enjoyed that change. Summers here used to be mostly in the 70s or 80s (and dry), which was nice since that's great "do stuff outside" weather. This year, we set a record for a new high number of 90+ degree days, which is much less pleasant outside weather (the last few summers also had more 90 degree days than typical - I believe I'll cave in and get air conditioning installed this fall during the off season).

As someone who had nothing to work on for the three first weeks of his job waiting for a security clearance, I sure know they can take a bit of time. That said, mine was a clearance for work with military secrets in the defense industry, so those are a bit more rigorous and thorough.

And that sounds like sime nice opportunities for development. I regret not studying any cyber security in Uni, but that's more from a standpoint of personal interest, and I couldn't have taken every course there was anyway.

Examples of Occam's Razor. The term Occam's razor refers to the philosophical idea or scientific principle that of any given set of explanations for an event occurring, it is most likely that the simplest one is the correct one.

    Weird stuff:

    - I finally gave in and let me talk into trying one of those e-gigarettes for a while. Now that´s actually interesting that we visited a very specialized and knowledgeable shop and I've gotta admit that this liquid is actually better than my usual brand of cigarettes (which are basically 3rd world stuff, but I picked up the habit when working in 3rd world countries. No, don't ask me what the actual brand is, I don't speak russian.). Funny thing is, I'm also very much into cigars and cigarillos and the e-cigarettes never came close to them. So it´s one vaporizer in my right pocket, a pack of Cohiba club in my left pocket. Funny mix of very conservative and very modern.

    - Again, something I finally let me talk into yesterday: Visit the Rum Trader in Berlin. In short, one of the smallest bars in old West Berlin and a place that will instantly take you back straight to the early days of the Cold War. Took me a while to understand the appeal of the place. The rum and cocktails are not that good and the barman acted very strange in the beginning. Turns out that this became a place for some serious verbal sparring, sorta-kinda place where the barkeep tries to totally dominate someone and the rest of the crowd cheers and feels better.

    - When you're on a roll, you're on a roll, so I'm off now and head towards the Monkey Bar. That particular bar is apparently in the 10th floor and build n such a way, that it is straight above the monkey area of the local zoo. Eff it, am I getting old-fashioned. I'm looking forward to a Vespa, Club Sandwich, followed by two Old-Fashioned and that's it, nothing fancy.

    - I need a new hat. The panama hat I wore this summer is beginning to look a bit worn and needs replacement. I _hate_ shopping for shoes and the only thing I _hate more_ is shopping for hats. AAAARGH! FLO SMASH! (Did I mention that I also need some new sandals? This summer was pretty harsh so far)

Well, to be precise, it's not the simplest explanation, but the one that requires the least amount of assumptions. O-Chul's Razor illustrates the difference quite neatly. It's always possible to phrase an explanation in a way that makes it sound simple, and entirely different thing to remove the assumptions from it.

You could fit another four while maintaining balance by putting one in negative (or a circular cutout) in each lobe of the radiation trefoil, and another one in the central dot. Another three after that could go between the splits of the biohazard symbol, and another three just outside the points.

So it stays balanced if you've got one, three, four, six, seven, nine, or ten more symbols to add. Beyond that there's no good places to put them unless the symbols can be arranged in such a way that other symbols provide good places evenly distributed around the whole thing. And there's five things listed that need adding, so that doesn't work very well.

Hm. Perhaps put it all in the negative space of the flammability warning? Then you've got four left, so you can put the "explosive" one as the middle dot and the other three in one of the three-slot sets I've already listed.
