My money is on some sort of leftover magic in the Castle or just some good old fashioned Twilight screws up a spell-type stuff. "Teleport the mane cast into a comic book" seems like kind of a weird thing for what is apparently your first recurring foe's first big act of villainy to be.

Well... that was awkward.
Daughter was watching DigiCurious' videos. They're usually okay language-wise, but apparently one of his latest, reviewing Flight to the Finish, was loaded with F-Bombs. No warning or nothing... I also explained to my daughter what "F*" meant from one of the comments.

I'm just glad my daughter get's the idea not to use F-Bombs at all.

What I'll have to do is trade some people around. Turns out I have two wizards with annoying ALI scores (36 and 37 respectively) and they're both currently in low-level teams. D'oh!

Of course this would be much easier if the enemy would throw some low level opponents at me... which they aren't on the current map (something Penninsula; enemies are on par with my level). My kingdom for an angel encounter. At least the other two wizards I have were in the "Sweet spot" for ALI and I promoted both to mage -> Sorcerer -> Lich now. So I have one lich I may name The Commodore, and the other... I dunno.

The great thing is that they were able to make something that ridiculous into something actually terrifying. (though they still lose to Weeping angels and Vashta Nerada by a long-shot as terrifying Whovian creatures)

for one, they were more "Racist Grandma" than "Mutant Cyborg Space Nazis"

and for two, there armor was fundemnntally flawed in that it had no internal power source.

The Daleks had to draw power up through the floor of their city, and cutting the power rendered them helpless, and they all died becasue they depended on that same power for life support.

They literally went extinct in their first appearance

they were later retconed into being Failed Prototypes that Davros abandoned in that one city because he didn't have the heart to destroy them himself(They were apparently to pathetic to kill)

It was awesome! Definitely my fav of the season so far!
The powers were fun to guess at. Rarity with a Green Lantern Power, Dash being akin to Storm. ...AJ a batter Wonder Woman than what's currently being developed. ;)

Overall yes this was awesome!

Also, I like how Maneiac's henchponies had that pale look and green manes like a certain joker...

It was fun enough. Nice to see some continuity in the form of the castle, and Flutterhulk was hilarious, but nothing else really stood out to me.

So, are those enchanted comics like the Equestrian version of virtual reality or something like that?

Also, isn't Rainbow Dash being able to control the weather basically what she already does, but in a cool suit? Is her superhero counterpart like the Equestrian version of a Badass Normal?

My head canon is that the comic book came from the same curio shop that the Alicorn Amulet did. The store owner changes fronts so that past customers can't find it again once their "lesson" has been learned from the object they bought.
