Yep. TBH I'm still not a big fan of 'Luna was possesed'. Similarly, I feel that just pairing off the mane cast to enemies 1:1 doesn't really make me more excited to read a fic of this nature.

I'd suggest an OC or tabula rasa background character for the villain, and maybe dropping the five elements of Discord to three. This makes the villains more competent, opens up quite a few character arcs that were closed off to the Big Bad, and overall makes it less cliche than if Nightmare Moon was the villain.

Naw, there called the elements of chaos, but the same basic rules apply.

Ah, well that sucks. I figured it was already done, as is with much of my conceptualizing. Greed would be a better term for it, yes. Thanks for the suggestions, Dromer. :)
