Dunno. Maybe because extreme metal? I don't really like Blood Fire Death, which is more black metally, but Hammerheart and especially Nordland are amazingly good. Quorthon's raw shouts are just godly.

I would have loved to hear Nordland III and IV. Silly heart attacks.
