You are a soldier, Titus is a soldier, you know how these guys think. The rest of it is facts that already convinced a man who is also charged with the protection of the common people - he cannot afford to pass up on the only two people outside of the twisted game to have opposed the Six. You shouldn't need to lie about anything unless you need to give an excuse as to why nobody but Titus can listen to you, and for that you will have a forged seal on a note explaining the situation to Titus. Ben grabs the set of items lent to him by Kender, leaves the room to find an acolyte to see what other care can be provided for his patient, and goes to the main area of the temple in search of a candle to light.
