400 lines? That's rather a lot, I prolly don't write that much in a day. Write as many as you feel you can. And here's the requested fic, but one of the perfect pair wasn't there so I give you the replacement.

Spread Your Wings
Spoiler
Show
happy was low
Just watching the show
Over and over again
Knew it was time
She'd made up her mind
To leave her dead life behind
She was working in the bar again sweeping up the idiot juice spilled by drunks and losers. Losers like herself. She mumbled that to herself, unaware of her red haired boss watching her from the store cupboard. "I'm a loser like them."
Her boss said to her
Girl you'd better begin
To get those crazy notions right out of your head
Happy who do you think that you are?
She replied monotonously that she was worthless. After all, working in such a dump wasn't exactly what she'd hope for. "Really?" he queried, "And as the proprietor of such a dump I'm worthless too?"
Aghast at what she'd just implied she apologised furiously crimson "Sorry"s spilling from her lips as she blushed. "Just kidding with you. Besides, if you think you're better than this, why stay here?"
Since she was small
Had no luck at all
Nothing came easy to her
Now it was time
She'd made up her mind
this could be my last chance
Her boss said to her, "Now listen girl!"
"You want to get out of her then go. I can't keep an untamed dove locked up in a cage. And certainly not such a tumbledown one." Taking her hand he gave her a kiss and said wistfully, "Not even one I love."
Spread your wings and fly away
Fly away, far away
Spread your little wings and fly away
Fly away, far away
Pull yourself together
cos you know you should do better
That's because you're a free girl
And giving him a grateful look she left him. Aiming for higher things where the clouds were brighter, softer and sung of freedom.
And he let her leave him. "Happy if our loved one is happy eh? Let's test this out then." He shut the windows and entered his bar.
EDIT:
@Kaela: wow. Beautiful as ever. And the imagery is haunting.
