I'm so happy for you, she says to Fan, accompanied by a strong mental hug and kiss. The happiness is genuine, but it's also tinged with sadness.

DC comes out of the detention wing into the great room.

Looks like everyone's got returning family nowadays...

micheal will take the corkscrew, and will try his damndess not to create the oh so cliche champgne fountain as he takes a glass, and pours on for Happy then Inigo, then Fanboy, and finnaly avatar.
"So, um... should I do the toast?"

Fanboy returns the mental hug, and kiss with a affectionate snuggle, and a nuzzle.

"A family reunion? Oooh! Good stuff! Who's family is reunioning?" Avatar waves cheerfully at everyone in general as she politely takes the glass. She isn't too big on alcohol herself, but this is a special occasion and she can just denature the ethanol. Doesn't want her mind clouded, you see.

Which might seem odd considering how semi-insane she seems most of the time.

"To family!" she agrees.

Fanboy, and Micheal both raise their glasess, and say in unison (with Micheal's deeper voice being obvious.)

Ingio smiles and strokes the dragon, trying to ignore the toast.

DC frowns. Figuring he wouldn't get out the door, he starts for the rose garden.

Zoe wakes up slowly, and purrs happily at being pet.

DC teleports out with a flash of light after he gets to the rose garden.

Fan seeing that his son is around doesn't go in for the kiss that he normally would have, but isntead sends it over the link as usual when other people are around.
breaking the group hug after a undteremined amount of time Fanboy turns to his son, and says.
"So, how long do you plan on staying Micheal?"


Micheal repsonds calmly, and consicsely with a entirely straight face.
"Oh, just a couple hundred years. I have enough faith immortality to last me that long."

"Hi Alexis!" Avatar calls out along with a friendly wave as soon as the Champaign has been drained. "There's a family reunion over here! You should come join in!"

Avatar seems cheerful. Not much of a surprise there. She's almost always cheerful.

Turning to Micheal Fan says
"Son... Happy's mortal. albiet a shapeshifter. While she will live longer than a human she doesn't even have a elves life span."

"Your kidding me right? with all the ways to reanscend mortality these days.. Why I figured everybody with a some wizard training could do it now a days."

Zoe shrugs, then sighs, still being petted.
She seems to enjoy it.

"Pizza?"
She asks, in draconic.

Avatar giggles a bit, patting the couch she's sitting on. "Whichever you like, it really doesn't matter to me. Did you get that problem with the Incubus worked out or do you still need some help with him?"

This wouldn't be the first demon that Zee has kicked in the jimmies. No, she isn't terribly powerful. Yes, she would do it anyway regardless of being torn apart afterward.

At the mention of death... "Ageing's just a matter of gene decay taking place in various important organ systems and a few fiddly other issues like telomere length and various suites of aging genes activating. I can revert stuff like that. All I need is a bio-metric scan of what you're like right now to use as a template."

She smiles wide. "Or you could find someone to Wish you into a species that doesn't die of old age!"

Magtok drifts over towards Zee. Yes, it was, in fact, her. Curses, and things were about to be going so well without her meddling in this 'verse. And based off of what the Fan-spawn said, the plan he conceived moments ago that involved stirring up trouble with a LG orc wasn't going to work. Damn.

Of course, spoiling things for Zee was certainly an option. This was his side of the Nexus, his world! He'd been the one with the first acronym name, had always taken care to shape events and people with his influence until the world came to be as it is now. There was no way he'd allow her to do to this place what he was doing to Enup, the spotlight here belonged to him, and he won't allow it to be stolen as he's done himself in the other land.

With careful aim, Magtok folds a sheet of paper into an airplane, and tosses the miniature F-16 at the back of Zee's head, and then wanders off to look inconspicuous.

Fanboy scowls in his sons direction... not happy with him alking like he knows more than everybody.
