Edit: very few people avoid ending their sentences with prepositions. Mostly because in our verbal communication it makes sense to us to use them in that manner and it is very hard to root out that sort of thing when it gets so ingrained by constant repetition.

The first time I came into RB, I think I was here for about 10 hours. This was in the day of Roguey; I remember her very well because this was where I met her. Mordy was here, too! ^^

Yeah, there's just something about a spontaneous existential crises and a gripping fear of dying alone that really get through one's defenses at about 3 AM for some reason. I don't think it's possible to end a sentence with a preposition. If the preposition has no object, I believe it's treated as an adverb. I could be making that up, though. >.>

Well, I pulled the word 'but' from here, it was a contrived and deliberate breaking of formal rules. While I have ended sentences with 'but', that particular sentence doesn't sound very good when read aloud (or even just read), it was just an example though.
