Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
You know, aside from epically failing every spot check and sense motive, the Princess doesn't seem a bad sort.
Dim witted to the point I doubt she has two brain cells to rub together, but not a bad sort.

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
I think the slow thread is a result of the rapid updates - there's not really enough time or daily material for people to get their teeth into a decent discussion.
Edit: I'm all for 'Yet Another Thread'.Last edited by Brother Oni; 2012-06-16 at 12:02 PM.

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
I just can't think of anything worth saying.
Also sometimes you just have to wait and see where things are going before you can discuss them. The updates are generally fairly short so there isn't a lot in them.Last edited by Poil; 2012-06-16 at 01:13 PM.

I think it should be five letters, like Yet Another Comic Discussion Thread.

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
Well, this comic is generally good, so there isn't the self feeding riffing and MST3K-ing of ol' DD. As for what the big guy is, he reminds me of certain depictions of trolls, especially the little horns.
On the other hand, he lives in a castle, so he might be an ogre.Last edited by Ravens_cry; 2012-06-17 at 05:35 AM.

Probably a king-kong like thing. She's expected soon, so there will be search parties and those will find out what happened to the driver and horse. They'll go after her.

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
It looks very similar to all the ogres that has been in the comic so far and it looks nothing like an ettin or troll. How is there any confusion about it?

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
I guess I should have came back sooner and commented.
Yeah, I figured it was an ogre as soon as I saw it, I was making a Beauty and the Beast joke. I thought the was a clue to my thinking. The Internet is no place for subtlety.
Anyways, waiting to see how Rich skewers the B&tB tropes. Thanks to Ceika (X2), Yeril, Holammer and Dr. Bath for the Avatars!

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
If they really pull that off I'll have that sour taste of 'Drawn together did it first' in my mouth for the whole arc...
