Okay okay okay. Guitar and a campfire is loads of fun. Haven't you ever gone on a weekend camping trip with several friends before?

Not since I read that list of ways to survive a horror flick...

I'm the geeky sarcastic guy, man. The only person higher on the horror villain hit list is the Brunette Girl!

I've done it several times, and it is some of the most fun you will ever have, and typically involves skinny dipping in the lake!

Meh. I suppose in truth, I don't know what being a hippy was all about. There are a number of impressions you get from them, that can help me identify what is and isn't, to a slight extent, but it's nothing I can put my finger on.

The people at school were mostly referring to my demeanour and personality.

Not so much in horror films, least not the ones I've subjected myself to. Heck, in many the black guy usually lives (...or, at least, one of them does...i.e. Deep Blue Sea).

On a different subject: I just managed to get two simultaneous paper cuts while opening a cardboard cereal box. I have no idea how.

I can't involuntarily get paper cuts. I had to actually try at giving myself one to find out if they were real. It bled but didn't hurt. My shrink promptly decided to double the dosage of my anti-depressants.

Scientific curiousity: no room for it in this world anymore. Bleedin' artists ruined it for everyone.

How many of you perceive, in society, a pressure for, or heightened regard of complexity in personalities?
It seems to me that it exists, not small, but not major, within my society, whatever it is.

I think if anything it's the opposite. It strikes me that if there's one thing people hate it's being forced to think, and if there's one way to do that, it's interacting with someone that has a multi-layered personality.

I mean, we have all these ways of labelling, of breaking someone down into one or two personality traits, I just don't see a pressure to be complex. If anything, it's the opposite.

Basically, this stereotypical event calls for us dressing up like British blue blood from the early 1800's. The dressing up and goofing around is fun enough... We have pirates versus ninjas day after that one. Obvious what I'll go as.

I will probably end up like "Craig the Poet." He is a homeless man in my town that walks around with a backpack filled with literature, and a notebook and paper.

He will write you a quick poem for a dollar, and use the money to buy tea and books.

Actually, in spite of the pleasures of facetiousness, all career writers I have met were disciplined, good-natured people. Actors too. Discipline is one of the most important attributes for any artist.

Did something like that once. Excpet there was no girl, the lake temperature was literally just above freezing, and I didn't so much 'swim' as I did 'Jump in just to say I had'

Also no alcohol was involved.

It was still fun.
