"well i can't think of anything off-hand, but since we need to scout out and find the guy at this inn anyways, perhaps we can gain some information when we reach there. We'll just have to keep our eyes open and hope an opportunity presents itself, unless you guys came up with anything?"

Doing something like that out of the blue would definitely cause a stir Jallorn, but if that is out of his character, his followers might solidify under that banner of him being framed, rather than disperse in shame. But having him "showing up" at certain seedy establishments and being caught in some morally disreputable action, and spreading rumors that might or might not be true could discredit him."

Any other ideas?

"Well, we could try to make it look like Parets did the deed, but thats a long shot. If we can't find some way to keep this clean our mission here is going to get much harder. I really wish we had some more intel, usually Drem and myself have more time to prep, I hate being rushed."

"What about poison?" asks Jallorn, almost showing emotion, "Or I could place a disease in him."

Calin perks up a bit "poisons, now we're talkin, but we still haven't solved the martyr problem"

Waits somewhat impatiently for the carriage ride to end.

The ground seems to stop moving backwards beneath you. However, these do not seem like gates into a main city. It's a small post, on the Gallian-Arshlac border. Three guards have stopped the carriage. "HALT! Who are you, and what is your purpose here? one questions.

Greetings sir, I am Malikai and these are my companions, we are just traveling through looking at the local towns for possible business investments...could you tell me how far we are from the next town and possibly a good inn to stay in while there?

Maclver stays quiet knowing that this is not his forte. He does however prepare himself for the potential fight readying an action to get out of the carriage and draw his long sword.

Spares a glance at Jallorn in askance, as his feet tense slightly, judging the distance between him and a point behind the nearest guard a cat ready to pounce, but calm from the waist up.

Occ: Maclver is not a talker and he knows it, he is a scout. He is waiting for Jallorn to speak up before he acts, but as a soldier it is just habit to prepare for combat when someone draws a weapon.

"On this road, the next town would be Windsor. From there, that's a pretty big crossroad. If you're going to Windsor though, the only good bar is Orley's. You'll have no trouble finding it, it stands out. Bye, then! Hey waves you off, opening the gate.

Waits for the Carriage to continue on for a few minutes before nodding to Jallorn. Thanks Jallorn I'm glad we got past them without having to kill them....only cause it would raise suspicions of course

There are no further obstructions upon your route to Danved, the capital of Gallian. As you get to the city, however, traffic becomes denser, and once in the city, the streets are clogged with screaming civilians. As you get closer to the inn where Rei would be staying, a line seems to have formed to get in. It seems to run at least 2 hours long. Might they be here to see Rei?

Turning to the others, Jallorn says, "You guys work something up to get suspicions into the crowd, even if they don't believe you, it'll make it easier for them to believe what I'll do later. I thought maybe spread rumors, like 'I heard he did this or that', or maybe claim you met him and say him do something horendous or something. I'll get into the tavern and scope it out." He steps out of the wagon, and, after making sure no one was watching him, turned into a cat, and made his way towards the tavern.
