Oh, and raptor is a another word for a bird of prey, by the way. It comes from Latin, and meant "thief", or "one who seizes".

Yeah, they weren't at all sure about the feathers, but the Velociraptors in Jurassic Park were big. Their shoulders were at around chest height for a human. This pic is from the kitchen scene, and while you can't get a direct comparison, you get a sense of the scale.
In the novel, the "raptors" were Deinonychus*, which was thought to be a Velociraptor at the time, but that idea was dropped before the movie was made.

You may be thinking of the small dinosaurs in the The Lost World: Jurassic Park, who were Compsognathus*.

*I don't know how to pluralise dinosaur names, so I'm not going to try.

The ones in the kitchen scene were the film's version of Velociraptors, they abbreviated the name. The "fat guy" villain, Dennis Nedry, was blinded and killed by a Dilophosaurus. They shrunk the Dilophosaurus down, so it would be different from the raptors, as real life Dilophosaurus is fairly large. They made up the Dilophosaurus's neck frill and poisonous spit as well.

Alright, comic 1:
Panel 2: Raising, not risen. Raising is more something you do to something else while risen is something you do to yourself, if that makes any sense.
Panel 3: "Why does he want to be the best" instead of "Why he wants to be the best". The former is more of a question while the later is more of a statement.
Panel 7: The natural tendency is to start at the top and go down, so people will read the bartender's reply before the question. It might make more sense if you flip the positions of the bubbles. Also: "Never heard of him" would probably be more grammatically correct, but "Never heard" is fine.

And that's all I can find.

...Almost perfect! Wow!
Only problem is in the last panel (slug bubble #3) "because" is missing an "a". But aside from that it's awesome!
Now for some zoological nitpicking.
Snails have shells, slugs don't.
But you can leave it if you want, it's not a big deal.
