I meant specifically why do people quit and then unquit? It was a rhetorical question. But it seems odd that WoW is the one game that I hear people talking about being addicted to.

Yay! Felix has a house! Well...apartment. Still awesome.

Oh yeah! Pick up the keys on Thursday and move in fifteen minutes later. There won't be any furniture and I'll be sleeping on a bundle of clothes, but it's cheaper than stayin' at the hostel!

Also, an idea on why it's WoW specifically that gets people hooked - I think in general people are just hooked on RPG's, and for a lot of people WoW was the first or best MMORPG they played, and it seems the easiest to get back into.

I've never played though but I have the same sort of thing with Runescape. Every few months I feel the urge to kill some pixels and grind stats for a while, and I usually play it obsessively for about two-three days and then go back to normal life.

I always used I'll rip your arms off, and beat you to death with them... Hm . You've opened my eyes to the viability of multi-limb combat Fred! *takes a level in Exotic Weapon: Phase's Leg.*

There's a whole world of multi-limbed combat. For example, did you know that the head can survive for a few seconds when it has been seperated from the body. This could mean that you could beat someone to death with their own head.
My favourite is to take a chainsaw, bisect the victim at the waist and beat the upper half to death with the lower half.
Although then there is the tactic of ripping off a hand and then beating them to death with it. That way you could say "Stop slapping yourself, stop slapping yourself".

@Everyone else: Regarding limb fighting I use heads tied to 6ft chains and then my own hands, the original post was funnier but having to write it three times got me mad!
